Disgusting
April 19, 2022Dirty, black mold growing everywhere, unkempt grounds, 3 maintenance people who never seem to be doing much of anything, roaches everywhere, run-down. They market it like it’s “Mid Century Modern” but in reality it’s just old and gross. I can’t believe I moved here for this. This place would be $600 a month in my hometown. The absolute audacity to charge $1200 and up is astounding. Florida is not worth it people.Property Manager Responded
April 21, 2022Hi, Helen here from Regency Apartments. These are serious issues that I would like to address immediately. I do not see a name so I am unsure if you are a former resident, a current resident, not a resident, or maybe something else. I would like to address any issues that you have, but if we do not know of them, we cannot address them. Please reach out to us immediately by placing a work order on our portal, by calling the office, or by emailing me at regency.mgr@adaracommunities.com. We would like to inspect your apartment and see what needs to be addressed. Items that we want to address immediately- What is dirty? Is it something in your apartment or outside? Was it dirty when you first moved in? Black mold-This is a serious issue and if it is left unattended can become worse. Per the lease agreement residents need to alert the office immediately of any malfunctions or disrepair. Is this mold or is it mildew from moisture build up? Where is it located? How long has it been like ...this? We need inspect the unit, please reach out to the email above or place a work order asap of this issue. Unkempt grounds-You are correct and we are in the midst of working on our grounds. The Florida tropical vibe is what we are going for and a few areas of the property are just not looking as good as they should. Thank you for your patience while we make improvements with mowing, trimming/pruning, new plantings and mulching. Please reach out to us and let us know if you have a particular area that needs attention. The Residents here at Regency are the best set of eyes & ears to help keep the property in good shape! Roaches-Are they the exterior large palmetto/american water bug roach or something different? It does sound like you are new to Florida and two things are very common in Central Florida, lizards and palmetto/american water bugs (I have been here for over 15 years and still not use to them). These larger bugs come into your house for two reasons-to find water or to stay dry. We do have pest control that comes to the property the first four Tuesday's of the month. They will only come into your apartment if you request service. If you would like pest control, place a work order online, call the office or email me and we will get you added. Please let me know in more detail what is "old and gross". We are always looking for ways to improve and keep our residents comfortable and happy. I look forward to hearing from you very soon to start working making your Florida experience a more positive one. Horrible.
February 8, 2016Office management was horrible as far as customer service and in appearance, not professional at all. Too many stray cats roaming around. Their website said once price, went inside and was told there's an additional $250 and the website hadnt been updated. Was also told b a resident the bottom apartments flood a lot. Decided not to move in.Review from Apartments.com
