"No Smoking"
May 9, 2022The property is great, the renovated units are wonderful, and generally people are pleasant. But the "no smoking" part of the lease seems to be very loosely enforced, if at all. I know that several other people have complained about individuals smoking in their units here but the management doesn't seem to care for it at all.Review from Apartments.com
Angela, the great manager
September 8, 2020We have been living in this beautiful property since 2009. We moved from a studio to a 1-bedroom unit. I believe this complex is located in the best area of Sunnyvale. Then current management is superb. We have recently had to make some renovations. Angela, the new manager addressed each and every of our requests mindfully and professionally. I believe she is the best property manager we have had. Overall we are very happy living here. we never had any major issue or problem.Review from Apartments.com
Great place!
July 24, 2020Moved in to one of their new and fully renovated 1 bedroom last year. BEAUTIFUL kitchen, hardwood floors throughout the whole unit, and a nice shaded balcony area. Only thing I wish it had was an in-unit washer and dryer(If you live in the 3rd floor, this isn’t so bad). Also, my unit did not have a dishwasher, but that’s fine with me because the place is a steal compared to other apartments nearby. The property managers, Fatima (2019) and Angelina (2020) are both very helpful and quick to address ...any issues you may have. Our little resort!
April 16, 2019We moved in October of 2017. It's a wonderful quiet neighborhood with lots of families. Its located near Downtown Sunnyvale and a very short commute from most of the Tech Giants. The surrounding area has amazing food (you need only look at google reviews), a beautiful community center with fountains, sculptures, and geese (the "Sunnyvale Community Center") an apricot farm that bears delicious fresh fruits on occasion ("Heritage Park"), a nice community park with tennis courts, grassy fields, ...and barbecue areas ("Las Palmas") etc. etc. etc. The building has some nice vine cover, a grassy courtyard and giant trees giving it a peaceful green foresty feel that just fills us with joy every day when we return home from work. Its an old building, but the management is always ready to scramble to make sure things work the way they are supposed to. We have one of the "renovated" units. It's very roomy, with an amazing gigantic kitchen counter top that is perfect for families--like mine--who love to cook together. All the appliances look nice and modern and we had no trouble decorating and making the place our own. We are on the East side of the building in the second story and the windows are huge, so we get some very blissful sunlight coming through the windows every morning. The people in the reception have been incredibly kind to us and make for great conversation. All in all we've had a wonderful stay at what we call "our little resort" and hope we can continue to make it here in this expensive place that is Sunnyvale! Best property manager ever!
March 9, 2019We've been living in Remington Place for more than 3 years now. We even recently moved to a remodeled apartment in the same building and we are very happy. It's in a quiet place, 5-minute drive from Trader Joe's and Safeway and has a convenient location. But the best thing to me is the amazing and super helpful property manager! Fatima is always on top of things. We travel a lot and we receive medication that has to be refrigerated upon arrival - Fatima always helps us make sure the medication is ...refrigerated asap and she replies to emails in no time. For people like us that are the entire day out and have so little time, it is great to be able to rely on someone like her. Loved our time here
March 12, 2018We lived at this place for a year starting Feb 2017. It's close to Sunnyvale community center and neighborhood is super safe. This place is accessible through public transport (VTA route 55) and we'll connected to 101 and 280. Move in and move out process was smooth and fuss free. Property was well maintained including the common areas. Ms. Fatima was a quick responder and never had to follow up with any issue. February 26, 2018they need to fire the property manager period. she the worst land lady ever i encounter. no consideration..you wont feel at home in this place, roxie was the best.. do not rent this place so much bad things going on too much noise and you can here the snore, loud foot steps and from above if you leave on ground floor its like theres only thin wall and ceiling separating your room to another. theres no swimming pool, tiny gym, laundry sucks only few washer and dryer and you have to go up to use ...the laundry. if you locked yourself out they will not help you out, at you have to call locksmith and pay for it.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Great place for a reasonable price
August 24, 2017We've been living at Remington Place for two years. The management have been very helpful all along. Any issues are resolves promptly. The property is well maintained, I can see tweaks being made here and there all the time, such us touching up a scratch on the hallway wall or fixing a tight door knob. It's also close to Trader Joe's, Safeway, Toys R Us and Starbucks. There are two nice parks within a walking distance, and a VTA bus stop nearby for those who commute to Caltrain or to the downtown ...Nokia or Apple offices. They've also been renovating some apartments recently. Too bad Roxie left
June 29, 2017This complex had Roxie as a property manager when i moved in, and she was great. A few months ago she was replaced with Fatima who is, by all means, terrible. Appliances have been breaking left and right and she apparently sees no need to attend to this issue within a reasonable time frame. Currently, the laundry machines only operate via a card, and the only machine that can add money to the card is broken. A note was left stating that the machine would not be fixed for at least a week, which is ...completely unacceptable. My air conditioner also broke as we were going into a weekend, so I emailed as soon as i noticed the problem on a friday afternoon. Fatima told me "I should have contacted her earlier" if i wanted it fixed before the weekend. Obviously i would have done so if i had known about the problem!
