We’ve truly enjoyed living here! The staff is amazing, friendly, and always willing to help whenever we need anything. They make you feel welcomed and valued, and it really feels like a community rather than just an apartment complex. The property is well-maintained, the atmosphere is great, and we’ve been very happy with our experience here. Perfect location for me. The amenities are very nice. I love the accessibility to the freeways. Closeness to Pearl is very nice. And I feel Government Hill is growing in a nice way. My apartment is so well lit and I enjoy all the newness.

My Experience at RGH Apartments: Safety & Maintenance Concerns

I want to share my personal experience living here so prospective residents can make an informed decision.
During my time at this property, I have experienced and observed several concerns that I believe future residents should consider:
• Security concerns: There have been repeated reports of vehicle-related theft, including catalytic converters, car parts, and other property. I have observed police activity on-site related to incidents. Despite being marketed as an "upscale" community, I have ...
concerns about whether security measures are sufficient.
• Maintenance and condition: In my experience, the property's condition does not match the rent prices. I have observed cleanliness issues, maintenance concerns, and problems requiring more timely attention.
• Water and infrastructure issues: During rain events, I have experienced water entering my apartment, creating concerns about potential flooring damage. The garage, gate systems, and other property features have also experienced issues, which raises concerns about construction quality for a property built in 2024.
• Drainage and pest concerns: There have been ongoing drainage issues behind the property, including standing water that contributes to mosquito concerns. I have also experienced and observed pest issues, including roaches and rodents, that require better attention.
• Management concerns: In my experience, rules and policies have not always appeared to be enforced consistently. I also have concerns regarding towing practices and whether residents have been treated fairly in certain situations.
While the property offers events, promotions, and amenities, those do not replace the importance of safety, cleanliness, maintenance, and accountability.
I have seen responses to negative reviews that emphasize communication and willingness to help. However, residents need meaningful solutions and follow-through, not just public statements.

So far, after six months here, I’m very impressed with the on-site management, helpfulness and efficiency. Still impressed also with the amenities in the public spaces, and the design and attractiveness of my unit (it is a one bedroom with a southern exposure).

I’ve lived at this complex for over a year and couldn't be happier. The floor plan is spacious with great natural light, and the unit washer/dryer is a huge plus. Management is proactive and the maintenance team handles requests within 24 hours. The location is incredibly convenient, with the downtown River Walk and the military base just a 5-minute drive away. I only wish more handicap parking space. Other than that I Highly recommend!

I renewed my lease and got a bigger apartment. There are certain things around the apartment that needs to be looked at, nothing big. Unfortunately, the main thing is the yard. We moved in about a month ago. There are still a lot of issues with the apartment, and we're waiting to see how maintenance addresses them. The neighborhood isn't great either. There isn't really anywhere to walk except around the apartment complex. I hope we will change our opinion after several months.
