WORST APARTMENT COMPLEX

I would strongly caution anyone considering living at MacGregor Residences or any property managed by Avise. This has been by far the worst apartment experience I have ever had.
Management is completely unresponsive and unhelpful. I have made multiple phone calls, sent emails, and even written letters regarding serious concerns, and they consistently ignore residents rather than addressing problems.
The towing situation is absolutely outrageous. There is a tow truck circling the parking lot ...
24/7 waiting to tow paying residents. We were towed this winter despite having active resident parking stickers because we parked in a visitor spot when there were no resident spaces available due to improper snow removal. Instead of working with residents during difficult conditions, they seem more focused on penalizing people and collecting fees.
The property itself is poorly maintained and dirty. Trash areas overflow constantly because they are not emptied often enough, yet residents are expected to somehow hold onto their trash if the dumpsters are full. The rules are excessively strict and feel obsessive rather than reasonable or resident-focused.
On top of that, the apartments have horrible air filters and a constant musty smell that resembles mold. We have experienced ongoing illnesses while living here that we genuinely believe may be related to the poor air quality and possible mold issues within the building.
To make matters worse, trying to leave the lease early due to these terrible living conditions has been a nightmare. They enforce extremely aggressive lease termination policies and will charge a minimum of two months’ rent even if the apartment is immediately re-rented. There is absolutely no flexibility or concern for resident satisfaction.
I have lived in multiple apartment complexes over the years, and this is hands down the worst managed property I have ever experienced. Save yourself the stress, frustration, and money and look elsewhere.
