I am a current resident at Baywood, I been here 3yrs now... My first year here was wonderful no problems whatsoever... my second year was a complete nightmare due to staff change.... Now the the Retreat at Baywood is under new management these apartments are GREAT... Diamond and another young lady that's in
the office are the absolute BEST... They want to get to know the community by throwing parties and interacting with the residents... They are understanding and very personable. Not to mention ...
these apartments are close to i75 and 675... Amazing eateries.... and minutes away from Tanger outlet.

I do feel they need better maintenance staff that know what they are doing and they could be faster with work orders. But I do have any complaints. This place has been one of the worst apartments I’ve stayed in. There’s only one Maintence man on site at a time. There’s only one office person. The hallway (walkways) filled with trash , outside around the buildings all trash. The front of the apartments have black stuff running down where they all need to be pressure washed but they to cheap to do so. Then there has been atleast 3 shootings in the complex. Unless this is the last stop ? don’t move here. I can’t wait for my lease to be up in ...

My apartment was flooing for weeks before the issue was resolved (more than 4 weeks). Mold developed under the carpet due to the water. When it was repaired and treated, I learned the "nature" of the property, but all was fixed.
The space is phenomenal (large rooms, storage closet, patios and balconies)

Huge roach problem. Ac leaks into carpet and creates a puddle. If you get locked out of your apartment at night, you will have to wait until the next day to get back in. The roaches are so bad that they aren't afraid to come out during the day and even outside of the apartments. The playground stays occupied with teenagers and sometimes there is pee at the end of the slide mixed with mud so if you have younger children, it's suggested that you take them elsewhere. Stray cats who fight eachother ...
on the patio while you are watching tv throwing themselves against the glass doors. People play dice in front of your bedroom while you try to sleep at night and in the wee hours of the morning sometimes during noon. Apartments have a huge turnover rate as far as a property manager goes. We had 3 while staying there in 1 year. Run.

Only move here if you like ROACHES, BEDBUGS, Ants,stray cats and dogs, garbage blowing around, dirty breezways, teens in the breezeways that won't move ou the way. Potholes all over the place
