    REGARDING our move-out process from Retreat at Greystone. My son and I vacated the apartment on March 17, 2025, after fulfilling all contractual obligations, including the payment of the required deposit. As part of the repair process, the contractors created holes in the walls to assess water damage using moisture detection tools. Unfortunately, these holes were left unaddressed and not repaired before our departure. We believe this charge to be unfair and unjust, and I kindly request a reconsideration of the decision to withhold our deposit. Additionally, I would like to highlight a series of difficulties my son and I faced during our residency at Retreat at Greystone. These include: Water Damage Incident: Last year, the sprinkler in the master bedroom bathroom malfunctioned, flooding our unit with water mixed with red dirt. This caused significant damage to my son's personal belongings, including clothing, shoes, office equipment, and furniture. My son and I had to clean up the aftermath ourselves. And we did not have renters insurance for our things.

  • Beautiful gated community

    My stay at Greystone Retreat is unfortunately coming to an end. Leasing office staff members (Rebecca, Tara, and Jordan) were very helpful in ensuring that my move from New York to Alabama would be a seamless experience. Tara in particular, while 6 months pregnant at the time, went above and beyond to accommodate virtual tours and processed my leasing application seamlessly.     My husband, daughter, and I lived here for a year, and we loved it. It's a quiet and safe community. Nice pool, dog park, and workout facility. Parking is not an issue. The leasing agents were always helpful. It was a fantastic choice.
