Leased a Flea-Infested Apartment — ZERO Accountability from Management
August 16, 2025Within the first two days of moving in, we were being bitten by pests. On our first night sleeping in the unit, we discovered it was infested with fleas. A neighbor confirmed the previous tenants had pets, yet the leasing office never treated the unit. It took four days to get an exterminator because management refused to use an emergency vendor. My roommate has over 40 bites and needs urgent medical care for swelling and pain. I have more than 50 bites. We’ve been staying with friends because ...the apartment is uninhabitable. On August 13, management finally arranged extermination. The pest control tech performed only a cursory inspection lasting less than five minutes, claimed there were no fleas, and left. Three days later, I am still finding fleas hopping around my apartment. Management refuses to take responsibility or refund rent. We’re contacting corporate, the health department, the BBB, and pursuing legal action. This place is a health hazard, and management doesn’t care.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

Liked living there. Going downhill by the time I left.
April 4, 2019My only big complaints are that maintenance is regularly late or I'd have to constantly remind the office that I'm still in the queue for work to be done several days after I submit a request. The parking situation is also kind of bad. Some spaces are extremely small, some are big, and many resident's don't think twice about taking up two parking spots.Review from Apartments.com
LOVE it here so much that I just signed another year lease!
October 17, 2018I selected this apartment based on the reviews I saw, and love it so much that I just renewed my lease to stay a second year. The staff here are INCREDIBLE. Olivia, the manager, is incredibly sweet and goes out of her way to help in any way she can. Patrick bent over backwards to get all the necessary documents in to get us approved and I was pretty blown away by his kindness through what I thought would be a very stressful process. He even gave me a personal call to congratulate me. The ...maintenance staff have been wonderful too, and I really just love the whole complex...the pools and hot tubs..the fun activities they plan...the gym...the trees and the location is super convenient. I don't review things often, but I HIGHLY recommend Ridgewood Village. The fact that most of their staff have been there numerous years (some close to 20 years!!!) speaks VOLUMES since this tends to be a high turn-over kind of business. You search should end here. Pricey buy cozy
September 3, 2015It's in a good neighborhood and is surrounded by good schools as well. It's a little way over the budget but you do get what you pay for as you get to have your own laundry area. The whole place is well-maintained and facilities are in very good shape. Parking can sometimes be a struggle but they provide a lot even for guests and households that has 2 cars.
