Don’t move here before reading this!
August 26, 2025I have been living at Rittenhouse Hill Apartments for almost three years, and this has been one of the most disappointing rental experiences. • Security is a joke. My car has been stolen from the parking lot twice. Management claims there are cameras, but they refuse to show residents the footage. They will only release blurry, low-quality images to the police or to your insurance company. This provides no real safety for tenants. Meanwhile, we are forced to pay $50 a month for parking with no ...guaranteed spot, no real protection, and a high risk of theft. • Management is unprofessional. Whenever tenants ask for help, they respond with disrespect, yelling, or acting as if we live here for free instead of paying expensive rent. • Amenities are poorly maintained. The elevators are constantly broken, the pool is sometimes dirty, the tennis court net is torn, the gym has only a couple of working machines, and the barbecue area is dirty and broken. For the rent we pay, this is unacceptable. • Neglect over safety. Even the police officer who filed my report told me that years ago the building had night security patrols and thefts were much lower. Management cut costs, removed security, and residents are left to deal with the consequences. For the amount of money tenants pay, this complex does not provide even the basics: safety, respect, or reliable amenities. This place is a complete ripoff—stay far away!
February 18, 2025I strongly advise against renting from Rittenhouse Hill Apartments due to their dishonest and predatory move-out practices. After living in the apartment for two years, I was hit with unfair charges totaling $815, despite thoroughly documenting the unit’s poor condition when I moved in. I provided my Move-In Inspection Sheet, which clearly recorded pre-existing damage, yet management completely ignored this and falsely claimed the damage occurred during my tenancy. When I tried to dispute the ...charges, management was dismissive, refusing to acknowledge my documentation and instead insisting their charges were justified. Worse, I later found out from the new tenant that the so-called “necessary replacements” never even happened! That means they’re flat-out stealing money from tenants by charging for fake replacement. If you’re considering moving here, be prepared to fight for your security deposit and deal with a management team that lacks integrity. I will be escalating this matter to the Fair Housing Commission to investigate their unethical business practices. Rent elsewhere if you value honesty and fair treatment.Property Manager Responded

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY LIVING HERE
October 26, 2023this building and the “beautiful amenities” they are advertising are being run into the ground by the awful property management. every elevator is somehow always broken and out of order every day. there is trash and dog poop everywhere. there is no pool security so it’s always disgusting and dirty. parking is a mess (that you have to pay $50 a month for!!) and they’ve gotten rid of the security guard at the gate, so now cars are being broken into. they do not take care of the trees around the ...parking lot, so there are trees and branches constantly falling on cars. what a waste of my time and money to live in this hell hole. what makes it worse is that property management does not care at all. they are condescending and rude and honestly just terrible at their jobs. save yourself the stress and avoid at all costs!!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Views from the 12th floor is beautiful
August 20, 2022Location is tucked away is a peaceful campus. The building looks like it is well maintained and the apartment is nicely updated. Didn’t give 5 stars because gate is not guarded as promised, gym equipment is not well maintained, and request fro maintenance or general questions often go unanswered or not timely. Helpful before move
August 3, 2021Moving across the country is not easy but Samantha and Timothy made this process so much less stressful! Our daughter needed a safe place to rent with lovely amenities and local people that would be knowledgeable and kind. Samantha stepped our daughter through all the rental details and even contacted our daughter when Samantha had a vacation day! In addition we had a major hiccup with some packages getting lost and redelivered while our daughter was not yet in PA and Timothy went above and ...beyond in helping us navigate this stressful situation also and got things stored for us until her arrival. Love It Here!
April 26, 2018I've been living at Rittenhouse Hill for the past two years and really love it! The whole complex is modern and clean, to top it off it has a secure gatehouse and plenty of on-site parking including a garage. The amenities are incredible! They offer daily fitness classes, have a great backyard to lay by the pool and plenty of social spots to hang out with friends.Property Manager Responded
