Nice location but poor construction
March 13, 2020The location of the building is great: it is near downtown and an areas where you can walk and near a lot of restaurants and nice amenities. Unfortunately, the building itself is super old. Super thin walls and timber floors. Noise travels and you will be sharing your living experiences with your neighbors and vice versa. No airflow/ventilation system in the building (other than the heating system) and smells, especially bad smells, can be an issue. Happy to be living here
October 23, 2019It's fun living here. The staff is so friendly and warm. The residents are welcoming and love to help each other. The building is older, but they are always keeping it clean and smelling fresh. My hardwood floors are beautiful and the rooms are huge. I have so much closet space. Apartment flooded
July 13, 2019I had the tenant above my master bedroom leave their tub water running. it flooded my apartment.the parquet floors buckled and warped dozens of precious works of art. everything was destroyed. travishyde seemed put off when i filed a claim and eventually wouldn't renew my lease. maintenance people opened my apartment door numerous times without my approval also,once when i was still in bed, asleep. not acceptable. the rents are sky high, the heat in winter time is minimal. too many negatives to ...recommend this house of horrors.Property Manager Responded

June 27, 2019I moved here from out of town to finish my residency. I had no clue where to live in Binghamton till I stumbled upon this place. Comfortable place and close to everything!
March 12, 2019I just moved in and I couldn't be happier. My move was easy everything was set up for me from their maintenance staff. Management helped walk me through the process of moving in and made me feel welcome. I can walk to restaurants, downtown shopping and close to my work. August 17, 2018I have found these apartments to be quite roomy, and the location to downtown Binghamton can’t be beat. Six closets in a one bedroom apartment provide lots of storage space. The living/dining area is quite spacious and the large balcony is outstanding! Where else in Binghamton can you find such a wonderful outdoor space. The common areas are very attractive and residents I’ve met are welcoming and friendly. The office staff has always been very responsive to any concerns. River house slumb apartments
December 30, 2017This place is a dump the office manager Mercedes is a joke and 2 faced and doesn’t do any thing it’s horrible and don’t ever rent there you will regret it.they don’t fix nothing nor do they want to give you any of your deposit back!!STAY AWAY!!Property Manager Responded

Stay away from this place
January 11, 2017This is more of a nursing home facility although it touts itself as an apartment building. Poorly maintained and poorly built. You will hear noises from all sides, and you will experience smells of all kind. This place is not appropriate for young people. If you barely move and barely do anything, then you may want to consider this place as a home. Maintenance is pretty awful. I wish I could say anything positive and I think the central location to downtown is just about it.Review from Apartments.com
