Great place to call home!
March 23, 2019River Ridge is one of a kind! Everyone who visits my apartment tells me how beautiful it is and they can’t believe how much room I have. Friendly neighbors make hanging out at the pool or patio enjoying. Absolutely love the underground parking garage and car wash!!! 3 months, very pleased
April 25, 2018Been here for 3 months. In that time I've had issues with 3 of my appliances. Typically that would annoy me to no end given how much the rent is, but the ease of requesting maintenance and having them come to fix the issues is phenomenal! I can put in a request at 2am, and by the time I'm home from work the next day the problem is fixed with a nice little note on my door. Love the staff for that. Excellent service. I do have some issues with the garage doors for underground parking. ...Sometimes they open, sometimes they don't. 90% of the time they work just fine, but then there's that 10% where you're either leaving for work super early and have to get out to manually open them, or you're coming home late and one door won't open so you have to drive around to the other. Annoying, but not a deal breaker. Was amazing to have my car already warm in the winter. Loved that part. I don't like that some people park like they've never learned what those lines were for though. The pool is awesome. I appreciate that they keep it cleaned like it's supposed to be cleaned. You can't miss the fact it's being cleaned either. I also really appreciate the fact there's cameras everywhere. I don't have children, but there are a lot of people who do in the building so I find that a very nice security feature for families. Even for single people. You really just never know when those cameras will come in handy. Personal recommendation to management - doorbells or something for the units though. Seriously. Yes we could probably hear some people knocking, but if we're say in the master bath, you're not going to hear it. It's too far. Especially if you've got the tv on, or music playing, or talking on the phone. You get the idea. Overall though, it's quite nice. I've had nothing but great experiences when dealing with the management at any of the IRET properties (I've had to do so as part of my job). They're all very professional and willing to do whatever is necessary to correct a problem if it's possible. They've made sure that any issues I've had were corrected immediately so that's great. I didn't feel like once I was locked into a lease that I was being blown off, ya know? I'm looking forward to being here for a little while. The staff here have been wonderful. Sure I could have paid less going to another property with less amenities, but I got exactly what I wanted here without going over my budget. It makes it worth it to me.Property Manager Responded

Beware of Garage Doors
February 5, 2018Lived here for over three years. Service has declined with each management transition. Underground heated parking seemed like the best thing ever until I realized it was almost a death trap. Spoken with neighbors at least four of us have had windshield damage due to the garage door which the complex always says they aren’t liable for. Once got stuck in the underground garage because neither door would open. Also the dumpster position seemes to have been an afterthought in a “luxury apartment” ...complex. They aren’t positioned near any of the door exits. Illogical. Save yourself the grief go elsewhere.Property Manager Responded

Avoid!
November 8, 2017Have lived here for 4 years and it used to be great. Unfortunately they have high turnover in the management office and the overall environment has noticeably declined with each change. Current management is unwilling or unable to deal with problem tenants. This used to be a great community but the lack of management accountability has destroyed this complex. For the amount of rent charged you will be MUCH happier at any of the other comparable properties in Bismarck. Avoid, avoid, avoid!Property Manager Responded

IRET River Ridge Apartments
August 2, 2015This building was built in 2013 and is still in great shape. Granite counter top for the kitchen island, stainless steel appliances, stacked washer/dryer and outdoor deck. Units are 1-3 bedroom with various floor plan options like 2 bed/2bath or 2 bed/2.5bath. Some come with garage stalls and others don’t. We have a 1440 sq. ft. 2 bedroom/2 bath with outdoor garage and 1 heated underground parking stall. Apartment has high ceilings and thick walls. Only sometimes do we hear our neighbors, really ...I should say rarely. Perks of the building are exercise room with 3 ellipticals, 3 treadmills, 2 bikes, 1 rowing machine, fixed weight machine and free weights with a bench and open floor space. Pool is 3ft to 5ft deep. Hot tub is large enough for everyone to enjoy. There is a nice outside patio with BBQ grill. Building is close to Cottonwood Park and right on the Bismarck bike paths that run throughout the city. Living in the south of Bismarck is great, close to Target, Walmart, Cashwise, Kirkwood mall. There is a new complex being built across the street with planned retail on the first level, should be great when completed. I would recommend getting an apartment on the northern most side or southern most side. The building is U shaped so apartments on the inside of the U have a view of the other wing. Every apartment has a deck which isn’t big, but is big enough for 2 people to sit comfortably. The only negative I can think of is that each wing only has 1 elevator in the middle. So I would add that you should get an apartment close to the elevator or on either end near the stairs. IRET is a great management company to work with. We have a cat and it was an easy process to get permission to have the cat in the apartment. Overall I love this apartment.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Nothing like a hotel
July 22, 2015Jfgfk is brand new with great location to Missouri river and airport. Apartment is everything like a hotel. Pricey rent but so worth it for us North Dakota snow balls with the indoor pool and sauna, full workout room and underground heated parking. I live in the smallest one bed apartment on top 3rd floor with girlfiend and rent hurts each month haa, But the amenities are totally worth the risk of missing rent.Review from Apartments.com
