HORRIBLE Customer Service
January 5, 2025WORST customer service experience with the leasing office. Went in this weekend to see what are options were for extending a lease or looking at other options within the building. Each time I am met with unhelpful staff, attitude, and VERY short responses. I have toured multiple places in the area and outside the area as well, and the staff at other locations are always helpful, even providing extensive information to the point of even providing tips for our apartment searches. I seem to run into ...2 minute or less conversations at Riveview and their staff here. There always seems to be new people here so may be a toxic work environment as well. It is sad to know that they could be more helpful and keep us around but it seems like they don't care. Good luck in dealing with them!Property Manager Responded

June 16, 2023Terrible building design and management. Do not expect real solutions to problems. I leased this apartment in large part because it had a 24 hour fitness center in my building. Turns our they designed it with thin walls and nearby tenants and the sound kept these people up. So the hours we cut, then later some of the machines and the dumbbells removed, and finally 6 months later they are removing all of the remaining weight machines. The craziness part is in the middle of this they remodeled ...the gym for two months and STILL didn't solve the issue. Now they call removing all the machines while keeping the hours restrictions in place a permanent solution, gutting one of the most useful amenities because of their failure of basic building design and their inability to address it. There are some really big red flag about this place
July 23, 2022I am the current resident of Riverview apartment and has been here for about 6 months. There are two really big issues here. First, although the building is not that old, the quality of the refrigerator, washer/dryer, dish washer are really really bad. They are super noisy and poorly functionional. Keep submitting maintenance requests and they look quite old indeed. The second issue is you barely can find anyone responsive here to ho an talk. For a complex like this I am very surprised that ...there is no 24/7 type of support. At this very right moment which is Saturday 6pm, the water is shut off in our unit, and literally there is no one here that can help us to see what to expect and be prepared for. Worst service quality ever
April 5, 2022I lived here in 2019 and it was really nice. After I re-entered in 2022, the service quality and safety has gone down a lot. First, packages can be easily stolen if the delivery guy puts them in the package room without putting into the locker. Second, even packages are in the locker, you have to try your luck to open the locker. The locker jams all the time and the management team don't even bother to check the packages for you as if as a customer you are lying about the locker not ...opening. Third, the fire alarms are crazy, they has been constantly waking people up during midnight with no sign of fire or smoke.Property Manager Responded

September 8, 2020I disregarded previous reviews which talked about alarm. We had to evacuate between 4-6 AM TWICE in less than a month. Management doesn't communicate on what's being done to address the issue. Do your research and you will find this is a REPEATING issue as evident in other reviews. STAY AWAY
May 27, 2017I am a resident since 8 months and this particular issue has cause us many nights up. The so called automatic bulbs in bathrooms go on and off on their own. And this continues over all night. Many hours. On-off on-off 5 as frequently as 5 times per second. I have a 1 year old son and it is extremely scary for us. Not to mention disturbing. Thrice we complained. NOTHING HAPPENED. Twice the complain did not go through their online portal. I didn't have any way of knowing if it did or didn't. The ...residents service said they didn't recieve anything. When we made a complaint in-person , a guy came by and I unfortunately missed him because I had to go to urgent care (To take care of headache caused due to the TWO-WEEK LONG CONSTRUCTION NOISE and FIRE ALARMS ). And they dropped our complaint. Riverview management does not worry a slightest about renter's pain. It's 2am and I am awake because of these lights, thinking what sins my family has accumulated to deserve this riverview lease. Can't wait for this year to get over. THE WORST RUN AWAY!
August 19, 2015One star is too much!!!!! If your into Technology RUN AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!! Apt picture is staged if you pay close attention. Heres the real deal: 1) Noise: Construction is constant be ready to deal with it Monday-Saturday. 2) WIFI: service on lover floors is horrible-if you want to live here make sure you get a high floor. 3) Pool: Your competing with tons of visitors on the weekend. There is no limit to number of guest residents can bring, therefore constant b-day celebrations and parties ...esp. after leasing office closes and weekends. Don't bother calling security company they DO NOTHING!!! If you want to continue your college years this is the place for you. They play beer pong on the weekends. Not part of Irvine's agenda, but residents are allowed to do this because security DOES NOTHING!! 4) Parking: One bedroom apartments are given only one space. This is fine however the construction workers are taking up all the spots close to building, if your spouse comes home with groceries he/she has to par blocks away. The leasing office recently posted signs on cars that were parked in Visitor indoor parking spaces. WHY This is not fair when their employees park inside and use the visitors parking spaces!!!!!!!! Its ok for employees..and NOT OK for residents- WE PAY YOUR RENT AND SALARIES!! We are paying on average more than 2600.00 monthly-are you people serious. 5)Business Center: One of the amenities your promised is always closed due to renovations(this building was opened Oct 2014-come on). 6) Apartment appliances were connected poorly, twice a week my microwave blows a fuse and I need to 'flip the switch". 7) Fire Alarm: Forget about getting rest here. The fire alarm goes off at 4AM, 2PM, 6PM. This is a non-smoking building, however I feel that certain tenants and visitors feel they are above the rules and lack respect for their residential peers. They smoke cigarettes which activate the alarm system. If you can play beer pong, then I guess yo can also smoke 8) Friendliness of leasing office: Yes they are friendly and follow scripts created by Irvine which answer any issue "I'm so sorry". Thats a common theme if you live here get ready to hear it routinely. Good and spacious apartments!
August 5, 2015I do love living here, the apartments are nice, spacious and they have wonderful amenities. The reason I dint give it a 5 stars is because the ATT network here is horrible. Its almost like you're living without any network signal. However, the staff is very friendly and will fix all your maintenance requests immediately. The rent is a bit on the higher side, but its worth it. We have a running trail right here (Gaudalupe river trail) which helps when you're bored of hitting the gym everyday and ...want to go for a run or biking instead.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
