I wanted to provide a long-term update on my experience living here, and I can confidently say this place truly feels like home.
I originally started out in the 1-bedroom, 790 sq. ft. floor plan and absolutely loved it. The layout is incredibly spacious and made downsizing a breeze. The natural light from the huge bedroom window and two sets of patio windows is amazing. Speaking of the patio, it is massive—a rare find for most apartments—and easily fits a full furniture set, offering incredible ...
sunset views over the city. The kitchen also has plenty of counter space for cooking and small appliances. It’s a perfect setup for a single person or a couple.
The community itself is quiet, peaceful, and the neighbors have been great. While the back gate had a brief issue early on, management fixed it promptly, and the gated access has been reliable ever since. The leasing office—especially Timeka and Monica —has been incredibly helpful and patient with all my questions from day one. Management does a fantastic job of keeping residents informed, and maintenance has always been fast.
UPDATE: I love this community so much that I decided to stick around, renew my lease, and transfer into a larger 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom floor plan with an extended patio and a garage! The upgrade has been fantastic. The ladies in the leasing office remain incredibly sweet and helpful, and the maintenance team continues to be top-notch, often resolving work orders the exact same day. The grounds are clean, the environment is peaceful, and it remains the best apartment community I have ever lived in.

Car Rims and Tires stolen

Lived here 3yrs and woke up yesterday to our rims and tires being stolen! We stay to ourselves, don’t mess with no one or their property and this happened to us! I don’t feel safe anymore! Riverhill Apartment management was nonchalant about it, didn’t have no empathy whatsoever. This is supposed to be to be a gated community, but gates barely work, people come in and out, and so forth!!! These apartments use to be up to part, but now they just going down hill! Can’t wait til our lease is up!

Took them about 2 years to get the gate fixed, but now that the gate is fixed they charging for parking If I wanted to pay for parking I would have moved downtown somewhere or at least somewhere where the manger would be in office or available to contact. Seems like the two leasing agents in the front office are running everything because every time I ask for a manger he is NOWHERE to be found. They can only do so much. Either he's not in the office or taking an extended lunch that seems to last ...
for days. The name of the complex is River Hill but with him as the manger you can change the name to Down Hill because I can see that's where this complex is heading. I called this morning to talk about renewing my lease and guess what He's not in today. So Mr. Eli please whatever day you decide to come to work or actually stay at work PLEASE CALL! Dear Valued Resident,
We want to call you back, but we cannot determine who you are based on this review. Apartments.com reviews are anonymous and do not appear online on the exact day you write the reviews. We have been trying to determine who you are so we can reach out to you but no luck. In regard to parking, the demand to live in our community is high and therefore we have to put guidelines in place for guests. Residents do not have to pay, guests have to pay a small be around $3 if they visit more than a certain number of times per month. I was to move in today. There was blood on the walls and a window completely busted out. Was looked at Thursday and still not fixed on move in date Saturday. Was told that window will not be repaired & wall fixed and repainted til Monday-Wednesday. Won’t tell me if I’ll be compensated for this delay. Won’t get me in contact with manager. Very angry!!! Need answers and compensation or need to have my funds returned!!!

We apologize for the delay on your move in. There was a contractor that accidentally broke the window and did cut their hand. You were not alerted in the appropriate amount of time about the resulting delay on your move in date. I believe you have been working with our Community Manager Sheree on the appropriate response and concession from us. Hopefully your move in last week was satisfactory and we look forward to having you as our happy resident for a long time.

Had mold in the apartment that I tried to get them to fix it but never did and was sick all 2.5 years long. I called with no answer, put in multiple work orders and even called management and went in person. The excuses I got were the systems are down, we just got bought out or we had no idea. I even took pictures to show but no one was interested in seeing them. So now that I broke my lease I’m trying to make dispute charges and make sure the information is accurate. They are telling me I ...
should have called or put in a work order. They are also saying they have a new system and can’t update the information lol I couldn’t even get documentation bc of thier systems. This place is a mess.
