This is the best run apartment complex I've seen in my lifetime. So many people I meet here planned it as a temporary stop before they bought another house or moved elsewhere. I, too, planned to stay here only as long as I had a dog because it is VERY dog friendly--then I'd move into the city. Many I've heard say, "I'll leave here feet first. . ." It is a varied age community with social events, if you want to meet new people (happy hours overlook the city lights of Portland each Friday, ...
coffee hours, book club, music jam nights and an interesting speaker series.) The management and maintenance staff are amazing, professional, and really care. The facilities (pool, club house, state of the art fitness center, computer center, movie room) are well kept. The outside landscaping is to beautifully done and kept in perfect condition. It truly is amazing how well they run this great place. I, too, plan only to leave feet first.

We’ve lived at Riverplace for almost three years and have loved every minute. Office and maintenance staff are the best- knowledgeable and professional. All apartments have washers/dryers and individual heating and air conditioning. The apartments are from 2003 so appliances have some age, but all is well maintained. Parking isn’t a problem (unlike over the bridge in Portland!) and there are carports and garage spaces for rent, if desired. Amenities include a heated pool (summer only), a roomy ...
clubhouse and workout room as well as a small "bark park" for the residents’ dogs. In winter, snow removal happens in a flash due to the hard work of the maintenance staff and contracted services. Location- right on the waters’ edge!

Excellent in every way. The staff is professional but takes a personal interest in making every resident welcome. The maintenance staff is amazing! Repairs are made quickly. The property is attractive and well kept. The office staff is very good in posting notices about services and scheduled maintenance, snow removal, etc.
