Be warned
November 19, 2025Just want to warn people before renting here. It’s super unfortunate because this complex has so much potential. If you move here just be prepared to do all of your own maintenance. I’ve had ongoing issues with my unit and have been completely brushed off. I’ve reached on several occasions about mold, peeling floors, leaking ceiling. It takes weeks for someone to respond, then they say they will come to your unit to “look” at the issue and the issue is never resolved. They hire Under-qualified ...maintenance people who do patchwork, that later becomes a reoccurring issue Because it being done poorly. My rent has increased, but no renovations have been done to my unit. I’ve bought my own supplies to maintain my unit. I have my family living here with me and in fear that we may be living in a home filled with mold. I’ve been told to email several people And included everyone in that email, and not one person responded back to me. Beware!!!
April 13, 2023Neighbors beware!!! The office will not tell you this, because they only care about getting your money and not about your safety. There is a lot of crime at rivers bend. There are men trying to break into apartments late at night through the back sliding doors. This has been happening throughout the complex for a while. Please be aware and be safe. Leave your back lights on. Management will not do anything, nor will they even make you aware this is a problem here. Instead they will act like this ...is a safe and peaceful place to live. They are quick to send out emails about contests and drinking parties, but not when there are serious concerns like this that may save your life. They put on a show and hardly work while residents are terrified and unhappy living here. You can see the other reviews for the numerous other issues here as well. Not energy efficient apartments
February 3, 2023This is what we have to deal with in our bedroom during winter months. It’s a disgrace! The kids bedroom single pen window glass has been frozen over by the cold winter night as if Elsa from frozen movie put a spell on my apartment!!! I wish this review would let me to attach a photo. Btw this place is heated by electricity, which went up by 50% this year. By keeping the thermostat at 66 degrees, we average $350-$450 every month.Review from Apartments.com

The WORST
February 27, 2019As another reviewer said if I could rate this lower I would, negative star. BEWARE do not rent here under any circumstances. The apartments themselves are falling apart and disgusting, they literally painted right over a spider on the walls... the carpets have paint all over them, everything is dirty, the kitchen is falling apart and the dishwasher is filled with mold. The bathroom is also the oldest most disgusting excuse for a bathroom. The people who work in the front office though may ...actually be the worst part, every issue you call them with they are immediately rude and act like you are a problem for reporting such problems. They also email you often with Major inconveniences that out you out for DAYS. FYI ladies in the office your job it to apologize and make the situation better, but they are the worst and extremely rude and tell you to deal when you call for said other arrangements. Terrible
August 5, 2018They always have a hidden fee for everything, they bribe people with small rewards to give them false 5 stars when it should be a 1 star. Management are rude and disrespectful and will not help with anything at all. I report that the neighbor dog bit my puppy and cane up to me and was about to bit me (reminding you they don’t allow German Shepherd but let a white woman bring one with no problems) I reported it and they have done nothing about it which is putting my 2 daughters that are toddlers ...in danger. This place is definitely not worth spending your money on, which is the reason a lot of people are moving out of those apartments.Property Manager Responded

Wouldn’t necessarily recommend
July 2, 2018My year lease with rivers bend is about to be up. The community is nice and quiet and no one bothers us and is it in a great location. However it is extremely expensive. Everything is electric, in the summer we were paying as low as $40 a month but in the winter and being EXTREMELY consiervative with heating I was still paying up to $300 a month. These costs don’t include water, trash, a community fee, and rent. They also were not honest with me about the cost of things and also lied that I had ...to move in at such a time because the previous residents just left and they can’t hold it. I called eversource and they said that unit had been empty for over a year and not to mention it reeked of mold when I moved in. You aren’t allowed to have any thing on your porch, no chairs, furntaure, toys, etc. They recently got new management. I was excited, they definitely stared doing more “community events” like eater egg hunts and what not. However they lost ALL of my respect after they sent out an email stating that if residents gave then a 5-star review on google, then they would get inscentives such as gift cards the the local grocery store. I know this isn’t illegal but it is extremely ethically frowned upon. Over all, I was initially happy with this place but got increasingly more annoyed with their management and the sheer cost of things. July 22, 2017Don't fall for this bs they let you do an application tell you to leave a down payment because even if u don't get approved for the place the money is refunded to u they go ahead and cash your money order for $150 and their worker Brenda lies to tell u the money order was returned to u. The day she said the money order was sent out was the exact same day it was cashed. They try and catch you with the amenities because they know some people just want a nice place to live especially with kids they ...prey on you and rob you.
