On many occasions I felt very unsafe in the neighborhood, and sadly in the complex as well. I've lived in inner city areas before, however I was never more paranoid about being robbed than I was while living at Rivers Edge (including from the residents). The views of the river were nice, however people rarely cleaned up after their animals, they use parking spots for snow overfill forcing people to park on the street (I got towed once), and garbage and alcohol was often left out on the public ...
porch (kids freely play in the area). Management never seemed to make any progress in making the community nicer, usually because they were never actually at work, taking 2 days for maintenance requests to be fulfilled. Overall, incredibly unsatisfactory.

  We certainly don't like to hear this! We always strive for excellence and do our best to help residents any way that we can. We screen all residents the same and all though no place is ever 100% safe we do have the cameras to detour any wrong doing. The Poo Prints program that was started 3 years ago for dog defecation has definitely helped residents be responsible to pick up after their dogs and we welcome residents to let us know when someone does not pick up. All things fabulous!!

We absolutely loved living in our 1,148 sq ft, 2bd/2bth apartment overlooking the Black River at Rivers Edge Apartment on the 2nd floor that offers spectacular sunsets and view of the river! Kayaks are available to use for free! The Clubhouse w/full kitchen, fireplace, and pool table is beautifully kept and available to residents for no charge, as is a gym and tanning bed. Several nice gas grills are free to use and a new deck was built this past summer to enjoy cookouts on the water. Boat slips ...
and garages are available, as well. Staff is very professional, friendly and accommodating! Maintenance is amazingly prompt and thorough! Landscaping is kept up well in the summer and snow removal is prompt in the winter. Ample parking available for renters only. This unit had new carpet, paint, ceiling fans and toilet installed before we moved in! We do not hear other renters. Outside lighting is very good. Large dogs are allowed. We moved out of state for business, otherwise, would still be there! Highly recommend!

River's Edge is Excelent

My wife and I have lived here since 2012 when her job moved to the area. In my time here I found the staff flexible and courteous. Maintenance generally shows up same day when an issue is reported and quite often they have the fix or replacement on hand. They also consistently fix things on the property that get broken and upgrade the property to make things more comfortable for the residence. The Amenities are also quite nice with wash and dryer hook ups in each apartment and a laundry room on ...
each floor for those that don't have an actual washer and dryer. Out back is a river to which we have beach access and a deck with grills supplied by the complex. The only complaint I have about my apartment is that my back sliding doors and windows face other apartments. (this is only true of a few of the apartments and cost is adjusted accordingly based on your view)
