Best Apartment Complex
September 13, 2023When I came to look at the apartment complex Alex welcomed me and she showed me around. She never made me feel rushed and answered all of my questions in a very sweet and professional way. She made the application process easy, which I completely appreciated as I was moving back to the area and was nervous. I have known from the beginning that I made the right choice. The property and buildings are always very clean and beautiful. The gym is very clean, as is the Community Room and pool area. ...They communicate things we need to know and even have a Facebook page so it's easy to gain access to information. February 21, 2022Would not recommend! They will find anyway to take your security deposit, even if you hire a cleaning staff. The office staff are never in the office. It took me 3 tries of driving back and forth to turn in my keys after my move out date. They’re maintenance staff takes forever to fix even small problems and you will have to call multiple times just to get them to come. Kaycie, the manager will be the sweetest person until you’ve signed the lease then she is very rude even when unprovoked. The ...pool was barely open during the summer even though they include that into their prices for rent. 10/10 would not recommend. March 17, 2020There are many ups and downs about River Pointe Apartments. Let’s start with the downers... the snow removal is severely lacking and can’t imagine how it would be on a normal winter. On the lease it’s required that dog owners pick up after their dog. But it appears that some dog owners don’t feel like it. Management hires a cleaning person for the public areas in the buildings but cleaning is par. Maintenance staff is working shorthanded which most likely creates most Of the issues. The ...upsides... The location is absolutely perfect! On one side you have a country setting and the other the convenience of shopping. Within a minute or two drive or 5 minute walk. In the mornings and evenings you may see deer in the field grazing. The sound of birds singing in the morning is wonderful to wake up to. The apartments are beautiful, clean and quiet, with generous parking spaces which reduces dinging someone’s car. Lastly, the management and maintenance staff are friendly. Nice facilities, awful maintenance
February 22, 2020The facilities are very nice - club house is comprised of a meeting room with computers and printers, fitness center, entertainment center, and pool. Except none of these amenities (excluding the fitness center) are available outside office management business hours - M-S 8:30AM-5PM. The downside to this apartment management is that maintenance requests are not fulfilled in a timely manner. Bedroom lights are replaced by management - we put in a request the week before Christmas and it took two ...months with multiple in person visits to get the light bulb replaced. The after hours answering service for emergency maintenance requests are able to do nothing but pass on your call to the on-call maintenance who may or may not return your call in a "reasonable amount of time". Currently the building alarm system (if you go into the apartment building main entrance) has been emitting a high frequency since at least 8 AM today (it is now 11 PM). Office management and maintenance have been aware of this for most of the day. Yet here I am writing a review after 2 maintenance calls and 2 in person office visits about this issue unable to go to sleep because on-call maintenance needs someone to talk to about this issue (if they even decide to return my phone call) even though this is a building issue and not a personal rental issue. Is the building secure? I don't know and neither does the after hours maintenance service. January 2, 2020This property is in a fantastic location. Next to 481 and less than 1/2 miles from all the shops and restaurants you would ever want. I have been here almost 3 yrs and found it to be well maintained, clean and super quiet. The new mgmt company has made great strides in anticipating our needs and very responsive to maintenance requests. Snow removal has improved (it was never bad) and I can tell they have creative and clever plans to continue improvements. Wonderful Experience
December 30, 2019I've lived here almost 8 months and so far the Rivers Pointe Way apartment complex has exceeded my expectations. Finding a new/modern apartment is actually kind of difficult in central New York. Rivers Pointe Way buildings have a secure key fob entrance, an elevator and central air. Maintenance does a great job maintaining the properties inside and out. The attached and detached garages are clutch to have in the winter. Other perks include a swimming pool, tanning bed and gym. December 29, 2019My husband and I moved back in to Syracuse area and were looking for a comfortable apartment to call home. We found Rivers Pointe apartments and have been happy ever since. The staff is wonderful now! It is nice to talk to them, visit with them, and get assistance. The common areas in the complex are well kept and enjoyable. There is a state of the art fitness center for use at any time of day or night. The apartments themselves, are clean and laid out nicely. We love our community here!Review from Apartments.com

Not worth the money!
December 28, 2019I agree with all the bad reviews! I honestly don't know where all the good reviews are coming from unless they actually are the lucky tenants who live in a building where the sound proofing is better and where pet owners actually pick up their dog's poop. I seriously can't look out my patio without seeing dog poop EVERYWHERE! It's disgusting! I don't see anything being done about pet owners being accountable for cleaning up after their pets.
