Hostile neighbors, Leakey fridge, malfunctioning fire alarms
May 29, 2025Was forced to move out after extremely hostile neighbors moved in, living here has been a complete nightmare the first three years. I didn’t even have a working fridge and got cussed out by the staff trying to get it replaced. Expect malfunctioning fire alarms to wake you up at 4 AM, but at least you’ll get to talk to your neighbors outsideReview from Apartments.com
$$$ Bugs
February 21, 2024I requested to transfer to a two bedroom from a one bedroom and the two bedroom has bugs. (I just happened to check the apartment out before I moved since someone left the door opened.) I was told by Brooke, property manager, that the bug exterminators suggested two more additional sprays to eradicate the problem. I rescheduled my moving company two weeks out and now I'm being charged $$$. This is a bug problem that I discovered and management should compensate me not bill me. I currently live in ...an apartment that has no bugs. I'm deeply disappointed in how this matter was handle and think if I didn't stumble upon the bugs then management wouldn't have said or did anything. May 4, 2020They don’t care about you, all they care about is your money! Fines for everything you do and no grace for hard working people who pay their rent on time. Always watching you from afar and looking for anything wrong. The customer service is horrible, when you speak with them they are waiting to end the conversation or get rid of you. They talk to you like your below them, like your going to be wrong no matter what you say. Great Manager, beautiful neighborhood, terrible customer service from employees
January 14, 2020I called recently asking a very simple question and was not very happy with the customer service received from "Lucy". She became very defensive and matter of fact/condescending. We have been residents here for a year and still have 6 months to go on our lease. If this is the way employees are allowed to speak to the residents, I don't think we will be renewing our lease come August.Review from Apartments.com
Stay Away!
December 6, 2017A nightmare! First off, we were lied to by the previous management as to location, and accessibility to DirecTv. We signed a lease sight unseen as we had a plane to catch and took the word of the manager. After that lease was up, we moved to a different apartment in the complex where we could receive a satellite signal. BIG mistake! The upstairs neighbors are the rudest people I have ever encountered. Loud music, which we reported and management dealt with. However, subsequent incidents of loud ...music and ridiculously loud noises, were also reported, topped off by last nights 11:30 PM vacuuming which woke us up out of a sound sleep, but they have been ignored. It is a complete invasion of our privacy, it hinders our enjoyment of our living space, it affects our overall quality of life, and completely unfair. Yet no one cares, so here we sit with 14 months left on a 15 month lease, stuck, with no concern from those who should be. Additionally, people blast their car stereos at all hours of the night, which we also reported and thus far has not been dealt with. Pet owners don't' pick up after their pets, despite the fact that there is an area for such activities. We are very quiet, and treat our apartment as if it were our own, it's a shame other people have NO consideration for anyone but themselves, and a management that could care less.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Hate this place
August 10, 2017For how much I pay for these apartments I would expect better. The apartment themselves are alright but not worth what they are asking that's for sure. The staff is constantly changing (3 different receptionist since Feb 2017), they are very unprofessional, and rude. Whenever something needs to get done or you need info about something the give you the run around. They literally contradict what they say about everything they do here. Then whenever you point out what they are doing wrong they ...harass you or find ways to make you life miserable until you leave. This is my second year living here and the first was great but once the changed to their management they have now this place sucks. Worst place I have ever lived.
August 9, 2017I can honestly say I have never been more disappointed in a place I was living. The apartment was a disaster when I moved in. Whoever does the touch ups before someone moves in didn't even have the right shade of paint and didn't even attempt to fix anything broken or defaced on the external walls of the apartment and patio. I turned in my check sheet to let them know what was wrong. Never one time did anyone come to fix anything that was broken. they never answered the phone, the maintenance ...team was horrendous and slow moving. Ugh I'm just being rude now.... July 21, 2016The staff here is awesome, Friendly and Proffessional. I've had no issues with neighbors. Nice neighborhood, good eats and walking distance shopping!!! August 27, 2015Riverside Villas is conveniently located right down the street from Alliance Town Center. This shopping center is full of places to eat and shop and there is a Cinemark. There is also a brand new shopping center going in right across the freeway that features a Costco, Target and a ton of other stores and eateries. 35W is a quick 2 minute drive. When you live at Riverside Villas, everything you could possibly need is about 5 minute's away. The complex is somewhat situated apart from other ...buildings and there is still a lot of open field in the area, so you feel like you are out and away from everything, yet everything you need is walking distance. The area is very nice and feels very safe. The grounds of Riverside are kept up well, not a whole lot of trees or flowers or shrubbery, but it still looks clean and kept up. There is greenbelt that runs along the back so if you are lucky enough to live in one of the buildings along side it (like I do); you'll have a great view. The pool is a very cool design with a nice deck that is built into the pool and seating all the way around the pool. I've had maintenance come out a few times to fix various things and they've always been very quick about it. They'll even come and change a light bulb for you. The rent is a little on the higher side, but considering the area you are in it's worth it. They appear to be upgrading the apartments as people move out, but the insides are very nice and modern. Most of the neighbors, at least the ones around my unit, seem to be very quiet even though its seems to be a younger community. The downsides are the parking. If I get home after 7:30 pm there is a 99% chance I'll have to park away from my building. However, it could be worse. The walls are a little thin, but most apartments are. And my other gripe is that they now charge monthly pet rent. I know other places do too, but that is one reason I chose this complex, but now they charge as well.
