Don’t move here
November 4, 2024Dont move here. Ive been here for about a month and a half and wish I never did. The complex itself has way more residents than it has parking spots, so much so that the residential streets are packed at night giving you two options. 1. Park your car a half mile away at Walmart or 2. Pay $150 more on top of your rent for a parking spot. Not only that the complex itself teams with a towing company to harass its residents and tow their vehicles all hours of the night should they have to park in any ...vacant spot thats available (Im sure Rockledge is getting some kick back on that from those companies too). They also force you like a lot of complexes to have direct TV at $160 a month, which is a terrible service, and about $100 more than any other streaming service that offer the same thing. Not only that ours hasnt worked since we moved in and are still forced to pay the service for the crap. If thats not enough you have to pay 2 utility bills one for the complex and your personal which they dont disclose(they actually tell you your utilities are part of the rent) so you can expect to pay an addition $200-250 a month on top of your rent every month. You cant pay early here because they never have the total amount of the utilities added to the ledger ever, so you will constantly pay late fees despite paying weeks early. Also upon moving in we had our blinds taped together looking like a 4 year old pieced it together, had giant holes in our silverware holder in the dish washer, have trash in the halls since we have moved in.Dog crap everywhere in the complex, have come out to dog pee on our door, and dog puke on the stairs for about 2 weeks. Dont be fooled go elsewhere and avoid this clown show. I will be soon enough.Property Manager Responded

Being a Single mom and feeling safe in a beautiful apartment

The space of the apartments is incredible. And the new manager has been SO AMAZING! Someone is FINALLY ensuring all rules are being followed and enforced so the apartments and community are all safe, clean, and an amazing place to live! I think the grounds could be cleaner...Beware when the say they tow, you will given any kind of warning no matter how new you are. Bath tubs are quiet small. Bad management, noisy neighbors, dirty complex
May 14, 2023I only lived in this apartment for a year but I cant take it anymore. I live on the third floor and have been complaining to Rockledge about my upstairs neighbors. At first, I went to talk to my neighbors and was told that they would not be quieting down, and if I went to the leasing office rockledge would side with them because they had been there for two years. Boy were they right. I went to the leasing office 3 more times and explained how I have heard the upstairs couple physically fighting, ...throwing each other's things down the stairs, hard stomping, and just overall lack of common courtesy. Rockledge did nothing because if I'm honest, the complex is huge with 15 plus buildings and the leasing managers dont care. Maintenance is lazy and underground parking is a joke. After my boyfriend's car got locked in the paid underground parking for a second time, and he was written up at work I turned in the keys. As I am typing this, there is a huge family outside in the courtyard grilling and blasting music. Peace and quiet does not exist in this complex. I am 23 years old and can tolerate a lot, but I am no longer paying for an apartment that I cannot sleep in.Property Manager Responded
