Great apartment complex and location
March 1, 2025My husband and I have lived here for almost a year. We were looking for a few things when we were searching- safe neighborhood, well managed property, and close access to transit and highways. We love short hills club villas, maintenance is quick to respond. Neighbors are nice. And when I need to take the train it’s a 15 or so minute walk. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to live. Great Place
February 28, 2025I have been living here four 4 years. I have to say we are very happy here. The office manager is just wonderful. The leasing agent is also a delight to work with. They have three maintenance engineers that work hard. Whenever I need maintenance, they come quickly and do repairs properly. They never leave a mess. Also it is pet friendly!! February 28, 2025I’ve been living here since May of 2017. I find this complex a nice place to live, it’s quiet with nice neighbors. I also enjoy living here because everything is nearby and walkable (Short Hills train station, downtown Millburn and Springfield). I work in NYC and so this is a great location to commute. The staff are very nice and helpful, quick to respond to any maintenance requests. Veronica, the property manager, is great, professional and will assist or direct you to who you need reach ...out to for whatever reason. Amazing place to live!

So far, I have no complaints, the neighborhood is nice, good area for kids, and there are lots of places nearby (food, gym, walking areas). Awful management communication and disturbed living
June 18, 2022Don’t be fooled by the “nice exterior” of this complex. Management doesn’t communicate until last second about entering your apartment and destroying your personal belongings and furniture with renovations. Every attempt to fix an issue by maintenance is never fully fixed or not fixed at all. And if you want to live somewhere without any form of peace and quiet then that’s what you’ll get here. Every…single…footstep heard above you. Every word spoken, and creaking ceilings/floors that will ...literally make you jump by how loud they are. Luxury price but bad quality
August 29, 2020On the surface everything looks fine, but we kept running into issues. The floors sound a 100 years old and you can hear every footstep from the floor above you. If there are pets or kids, good luck not getting into constant arguments with the neighbor. I've lived in many apartments before, but it was never this bad. We've heard this from multiple residents. Try it for yourself before you sign on. The build quality is poor, with holes everywhere for bugs to go in and out as they please. ...Management responds quickly but they don't actually want to fix anything expensive. The main maintenance guy is cranky on a great day and rude the rest of the time. His job is to say everything is fine and the previous resident never complained. At least the rest of them are nice, but they don't make the decisions. To make everything look pretty, the landscapers blow dust from parking lots into your window twice a week. Window sills are caked with dust and I see so many kids and pets around, but the grass is always getting treated with no warning flags in sight. And it was a great idea to install flood lights everywhere outside people's windows. I can read a book by the window without turning my lights on. I could keep going..I kept hearing people's complaints but none of them seem to be online. Glad I moved out and got a bigger space for cheaper.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

September 19, 2015Short hills club Village is nestled just blocks from the Short Hills station and the Mid Town direct train which can have you in NYC in 30 mins, great downtown with shops and restaurants, lost to whole foods and the Short Hills Mall.
