The good: maintenance have been super responsive. The noise level isn't bad if you have an interior-facing unit (can't speak for exterior). Most residents nice and doing their own thing.
The bad: I've a woman and have been harassed in the area three times this week, including a guy who screamed in my face as I walked down the street in broad daylight. Yeah, it's a city, but what good is a new apartment if you don't feel safe outside of it.

Expensive, small apartments, washer/dryer COMBO sucks (takes minimum 4 hours to do one small load of laundry), hot water in shower only lasts 8 minutes, gym is small and people steal weights and don't return them- doesn't even have mirrors, walls are really thin (you can hear weights dropping if you live on the second floor), parking garage door is ALWAYS broken so anyone could walk in, new management took over and there's no longer 24/7 desk people. Liquor store under building brings in bad ...

They are building a liquor store downstairs. Constant violence near the building cheap appliances, poorly built space which was done fast and cheap. Doors to apartment run out of battery frequently. Nothing but problems for the price.

This apartment was built quickly and poorly. Elevators break each week, plumbing system has consistent issues, other small things like fake tiles already shifting and our one door does not properly fit into the frame. Along with this, there are already many stress lines/indents in our walls. When touring, we were promised the commercial space would be filled with a co-working space (coffee shop, cafe, etc). Instead, a liquor store will be added + the crime in the area is terrible.

I toured the apartment this week with Tyrell. He is the BEST manager I've ever had in my life. He showed me two 1B units, TWICE since I had few questions after the 1st tour and he accommodated my return.
He is very professional and considerate. He knows everything about the apartment and he gave me advice on choosing units and furniture layout. He even did measure the dimension for me when I just mentioned it. He is really sweet!!!!
I highly recommended this property given its affordable ...
price and luxury interior. Definitely the best value graduate housing in University city!!!!
