Bad!!

Horrible maintenance
August 19, 2015Lived here 5 months already and have only had maintenance here once they fixed toilet which was missing inner ring so it was leaking but when they fixed it left it Un caulked so toilet moved every time we used it. Bf had to fix it himself cause no one came back. Fridge is broke, cracked and rusty (food goes bad fast) and missing light. Closet light doesn't work. A/c unit in front of 4 year Olds room is leaking, roach infestation, all counter tops were spray painted, doors dont all fully close or ...lock, missing window locks on 2 out of 3. Rust holes in all the faucets. Weve paid full rent the entire time and are told we won't be reimbursed for any work that we do on the apartment ourselves.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Would NOT recommend Sagewood Apartments
August 18, 2015I have been a tenant at Sagewood apartments for about 2 years now and have had NOTHING but trouble!! The one bedroom I lived in for a short amount of time was great but very noisy, you can hear almost everything that your neighbors are doing. I then upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment where the trouble all began. We started seeing little baby cock roaches all over the apartment, bedrooms, bathrooms, and the kitchen/dinning area. I had complained over and over again to Jennifer the apartment manager ...and all they could do was have the bug spray place come out every Tuesday to spray our apartment. Eventually I got so sick and tired of seeing roaches in my apartment I called the city on them. Once the city was called things started to finally get resolved and they ended up doing a roach bombing in the sewers and we haven't had roaches since. The next issue was the AC unit. I had them come out 3 different occasions for my AC unit not blowing out properly and we kept our AC at 83 degrees!!! Come to find out they did not keep the units maintained properly and there was NO free-on in the unit. I would NEVER recommend anyone to these apartments. Neighbors are LOUD and the walls are paper thin so you hear EVERYTHING that is going on. Horrible horrible management!!!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Wouldn't Live Anywhere But Sagewood
July 25, 2015I've lived at Sagewood for five and a half years. A few months after I moved in the property was purchased by a new owner. We went through a few really terrible managers and the place went downhill fast. However, three years ago our current manager Jennifer came in and completely turned the place around. Now our occupancy rate is over 90% even in the summer and more people are renewing their leases than ever before. Maintenance requests are handled quickly. When my AC went out on a Friday ...afternoon, the staff had a portable unit set up and cooling within an hour. My AC was repaired first thing Monday morning. Sagewood is an older complex and we don't have a lot of amenities like some of the new complexes. But the apartments and grounds are well maintained. Last year Jennifer worked with the owner and laundry contractor to redo the laundry room with all new high efficiency larger capacity washers and new dryers. My favorite thing about living at Sagewood is the sense of community. We are a multi-generational multi-ethnic complex and very dog friendly. If you want a place with parties every night, Sagewood is not for you. If you're looking for a place to call home, this could be it.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
