RENTER’s BEWARE! Do not move here

I would not recommend Sailpointe to anyone. To start with they said the apartments would be clean before moving in. When I moved in there were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling and the floors and patio were dirty. There were also dead cockroaches in the bathroom. They also had a recycle trash bin outside of the my apartment that was overflowing for months and had broken glass on the road from it that I cut a tire from. But did they try to make up for those bad things that cost me money to ...
clean and fix? No they decided to charge ridiculous fees on things after I moved out that I’ve never been charged anywhere else. Management doesn’t care about you if you move here and that is why there is constant turnover. I had 5-10 different tenants living above me and beside just in the 2 1/2 years I lived there. Very Old Apertments

Beautiful view IF you have a water view, upgrades NO NONE there might be 4 apartments that have been up graded of over 190. We have been waiting over 1 1/2 years to have our cabinets repaired, sat with management last week as they explained the $400 rent increase ask about my cabinets and showed pictures she said oh my I didn't know it was that bad this week they are sending some one to look at they and hopefully fix and a lot of other issues

My girlfriend and I lived here for over a year and I highly recommend looking elsewhere. The quality of the apartments is superficial and do not hold up well. Just over one year there have been countless times we have had to get repairs. The paint peels, windows leak, tons of bugs in the apartment, and multiple times we have had water come through the flooring. Now when we first moved in they gave us the wrong address so all of our utilities were incorrect and we had to pay more due to their ...
incompetence. Second, it took me going into the office 5x over 3 months to finally get a mail key that actually fit our mailbox. They give you the runaround whenever there are any issues and there are a ton of small charges monthly that they did not disclose when we signed the lease. Lastly, during the midst of the COVID pandemic they charged two healthcare workers an extra 2 weeks of rent because they claimed they never received my first email. Only good experience was Candace was very helpful. Long story short...there are a lot of better places to live by the lake for this price. I do not recommend it to anyone.

If I could put zero stars i would!!! The draw to Sail Pointe is obvious if you want to be close or on the lake, however, the office never answers the phone, they do not respect or empathize with any of your needs, Manager is never there, and they have made it clear they do not care about anything whatsoever. This place has went through three management changes since I have lived in Cornelius. MOST OF ALL- They are LIARS! Everything that comes out of their mouth is a lie. Not just a little one ...
but BIG ONES. I have been in the apartment management industry for 12 years and have trained many staff members and I am appalled at how they treat people . I am not sure if it starts from the top or just how this place is ran. I am currently waiting on a Regional to call me and to set up a meeting with the Community Manager right now to go over my concerns. Please make sure you look around Cornelius before decided on where to live. They are so many great options with a management team that cares.

The property is absolutely beautiful, reasonable price, and great amenities. I would recommend living here absolutely. But the people who work in office are horrible, never ever ever answer phones, messages or emails. Only one who EVER is truly helpful up front is Madison.

We lived at Sailpointe for the last year and couldn't have been happier with the location. We had a fantastic view from our third floor balcony! The office staff has always been friendly and helpful and any maintenance issues were taken care of promptly. We were sorry to go but have relocated out of the area. We highly recommend Sailpointe at Lake Norman!

Just moved in and the office staff has been more than helpful with my moving experience. I had to put in a service request and they fixed it the same day. Unbeatable location next to the lake and I love relaxing after work with my friends by the firepit!

I wish I could leave a negative star review. I lived at sailpointe Apartments in Cornelius, nc. When I moved in had to spend hours cleaning because the place was nasty. The carpet had spots and all seams were visible. Dealing with the office staff was horrible as you never would receive the same story twice. They would lie blantly to your face because they could not fermenter what story they told either you or your neighbor. Packages that were left at the office that were signed by staff would ...
magically appear months later after starting an investigation process with the shooter and carrier. The 'utilities' they charge for cannot be verified with a meter read nor a service. More issues... issue is my car was broken into twice while parked in front of my unit. Personal items that were left outside my front door were thrown away by staff without a warning or notice. Police regularly either had to be called in neighbors or were having to serve warrants to other tenants on a regular basis Long story short this property should be listed as a slum, run by crooks and liars, and should be avoided at all costs. The rent amount they give that will be your monthly amount is totally fiction.

Upgrades were defiantly needed. They ere energy efficient. People won't tell you the the positive. We did at first have a problem with payment through the online. Kinks got worked out. Our energy bill has decreased. My only problem is volley ball court is used as kitty liter box. A fence needs to be put around it. So I haven't sen roaches but we pay pest control every month. I call they set up an appointment usually Wednesday's I have a dog. So I make sure all she Lis with me. I like living here. ...

Since new owners/management, Robbins Property took over there have been lots of unnecessary and unjustified upgrades to raise rent prices. Not worth it. Valet garbage removal? Really? Trump tower apartments don't even have that. Your rent will reflect it!

These apartments used to be called Marina Shores, and the former management was typically on top of everything. I had very few issues, and if I did they were usually resolved very quickly. It's been a big joke since Robbins Property Associates took over. I've had lots of problems with their online payment system, and when I call for help, they usually don't answer the phone and no one ever returns a phone call. figure out the system either, and told me I owe more than the rent I'm supposed to be paying. I've complained of roaches in my apartment bathroom (for which I pay a monthly pest control fee) and 4 weeks later, they still haven't shown up to do anything about it. They switched to "valet" trash service, but haven't been picking it up like they said they would. Trash is piled up at every apartment door in my building now - stinky and ugly! I love the lake view from my apartment but that's where it ends - not likely that I will be renewing my lease. Think twice before moving to Sailpointe!

Though these are older apartments they are kept up with pretty well. Marina Shores are located right next to Lake Norman so you are guaranteed a beautiful view. Also, being located next to the Rusty Rudder you are anything but short a few steps from good music and fun.
