Privately Owned, Well-Maintained, and Worth It

I’ve had a genuinely great experience living here, which is not something I say lightly after renting in several places over the years. What stands out most is how well the property is maintained and how responsive the management team is. Anytime I’ve needed something—whether it’s maintenance or a quick question—it’s been handled quickly and professionally, which makes day-to-day life so much easier. thoughtfully laid out in a way that doesn’t feel exposed or chaotic. It’s the kind of place where you can walk around comfortably, come and go at different hours, and just feel at ease. There’s a calm, tucked-away feeling to the property that’s hard to find, especially in busier areas. The grounds themselves are really beautiful and have a lot more character than most apartment complexes. Instead of feeling like rows of identical buildings, there are winding walkways, mature trees, and little pockets of space that make it feel more like a small community than a typical complex. It feels intentional and cared for. I also really appreciate that it’s privately owned—you can tell there’s pride in how the property is run, and it doesn’t have that impersonal, corporate feel that so many larger complexes have. The amenities are a big plus. The swimming pool is genuinely beautiful and peaceful, not overcrowded, and actually feels like somewhere you’d want to spend time relaxing. There’s also a dog park, which is a great feature and makes it especially convenient if you have a pet. The location is another win—close to everything I need, including shopping and restaurants, with easy access to main roads, but still quiet enough that it doesn’t feel hectic. My apartment itself has been comfortable and functional, with a layout that works well for real living. It’s easy to settle in and make it your own, and it truly feels like a space to relax and unwind at the end of the day. Overall, this has been one of the most positive renting experiences I’ve had. I renewed my lease without hesitation, which says everything. If you’re looking for a place that feels safe, well-managed, and genuinely livable—with a bit of character instead of the usual cookie-cutter feel—this is absolutely worth considering.

Love my apartment.

I love living in this apartment complex. It is relatively small, 7 buildings, and the maintenance is quick. I have lived in a 1 bedroom with a large kitchen and recently moved into a ground floor 2 bedroom that has a small yard. The master baths are large. The pool is nice and cleaned regularly. You can use it year round if you can stand the cold. I really enjoy the 1/4 acre dog park and that you can have up to 3 pets of any size here. It's a great place to live.

I made an appointment to simply look at one of these apartments in March because I was moving from 14 hours away in July. I spoke to someone on the phone is was very rude. I then decided to give them another try and called back another day to make an appointment and I spoke with someone else who was not as rude. When my boyfriend and I went to look at the apartment while visiting, the man who I talked to the first time on the phone helped us. He was VERY rude and clearly did not want to show us ...

his place has got to have the most rude, unprofessional, unkind person of any of the 14+ apartment leasing offices I've spoken to in the last two days. I'd been trying to reach their office all afternoon and finally got a hold of someone half an hour before the end of their hours of operation. A man named Mike answered the phone and was very curt. When I asked if he had time he answer a few questions he responds with "I have two minutes." I pretty much only asked one question before deciding to ...
end the call. Not long after I go to check my emails and I see that this property had responded. It was Mike again, and he directed me to the property website to help myself. So this place is pretty much off my list, mostly because I didn't get very far in my research process. I don't know why you would have someone so unwelcoming in the very first stages of the leasing process.

I can't think of a better complement for anything from food to cars and yes, resigning a lease than I would do it again. I am resigning my because ownership has made commitments to repair and maintain the complex and is not only keeping those promise but is going the extra mile. They have replaced poor mangers, hired a new maintenance man and are supporting him in keeping the small comfy complex that has serious room to play a place I chose is stay and recommend.

No Longer A Nice Community, Stay Away

New owners took over approx 1 year ago, nothing good happened after that. The units are old, but new management does not spend money on keeping up with repairs. The outside of the complex has fallen into complete disrepair, the "amenities" are a complete joke. The "gym" is three pieces of crappy equipment, of which the bowflex is still broken. The inside of the units need to be updated, and to charge the crazy prices that the rent has become is a joke. After living here for 3 years, I refuse to ...

All old reviews are over 2 years ago new owner is very greedy, can’t even get place mowed and trail has now been covered with grass so we can no longer walk our pet. No maintenance man on site, car break inns constantly and apartments break inns seems quiet and nice but don’t be fooled.

  We are so sorry you feel this way! Here at Santa Fe Condo Apartments we try to please and accommodate all our residents and are usually successful in making everyone happy. We believe that all of our long term Residents is our proof we're doing something right. While we are disappointed that we were not able to make you happy, and we do hope you give us the chance to try. Do not recommend

This is a nice complex that could be better if units weren't neglected and management didn't over-promise and under deliver. We are sadly, not renewing our lease.
