A Fresh Start for Satori
November 11, 2025I’ve lived at Satori for nearly two years, and when management changed to Avenue5 in October 2024, everything that made this place good quickly went downhill. Maintenance requests were ignored, the office became unresponsive, the entire staff was rude, and the property stopped being cared for. I was so frustrated that I left detailed negative reviews everywhere I could, warning people to “run away.” Just as I’d given up on the place, a new property manager, Brittany, stepped in. In just a few ...short months, she has completely turned things around. She genuinely cares about the residents, pays attention to the details, and gets things done. She’s also built a new team who are just as responsive and professional. Every apartment complex has its annoyances, and I will agree w others that the insulation on the doors and windows really do suck (I’ve had to do a lot of DIY over the last couple winters, but I bet the new maintenance team will be more helpful). So it’s a relief knowing that any solvable issues will now be handled promptly and properly, especially with winter being here. I’m so happy to have deleted my old reviews and replaced them with this one. Don’t Do It!
August 12, 2025Run away, run away, run away. In 20+ years of community living in several states. This is by far the worst experience I’ve had since Avenue5 took ownership. Everything is an inconvenience for those in the office. Their office staff is different nearly each week because of turnover. Most recently this last week, Avenue5 leadership was reportedly on site to rectify problems. That again has failed with no communication and lack of follow through on maintenance requests that are prevailing at this ...cheaply built complex. Your utility bills will be more than you’ve ever paid and there’s lack of empathy and understanding when it comes to work orders and a residents work/sleeping schedule. Not even an inclination to attempt to remedy expressed concerns. Check out the cleanliness of the pool photos that may or may not be open due to repairs. Today while inquiring about a timeline for repairs, I was again shunned and provided no answer other than, “they’ll be repaired in the order they were received.” This place does not care about residents and I reluctantly renewed my lease for a shorter period of time in hopes of a higher degree of action and change. Avenue5 complacently employs temporary staff (including non-employees of Avenue5) who have no permitted access to systems in order to help. Horrible experience with Satori
January 19, 2025My experience with Satori has been nothing short of a nightmare. I paid $300 for an application fee ($50) and an administrative fee ($250). However, the floor plan I was looking for wasn't available and therefore I should've been refunded $250 for the administrative fee. The agreement I signed allows Satori 30 days to refund the money. So far, it's been 80 days and still no refund. I've sent numerous emails, had several phone conversations, and in person conversations with Satori management ...and they still haven't paid the refund due to me. The last time I spoke with the apartment manager, I was told that I'd receive a phone call by the end of that day but they never called. Nice Property But A Lot of Pop Up Bills
June 25, 2022Lived there for 1.5 years and moved out at the end of the second contract. The second week we move in 2020, the BH Management bought the complex. As we expected, once the contract ended in first year, they raised the rent for $300 for a 3 bedrooms apartment if we sign a 12 months lease. So we deciding not to sign for a 12 months lease. Sign a 6 months lease instead. During my whole stay, they added different features, so they can collect more from resident. They build "parcel locker" in the ...business center, and charged additional $5/ month (required). But all carrier drop off packages to my door. Valet Living trash service, collect trash from your door, it was free for awhile but started charing $25 plus the cost of public dumpster. Last but not least, common area electricity (leasing office, fitness center, mail room, public bathroom, etc.. ) added to the bill. After we moved out, we got a final bill for cleaning, painting, and damages. But when we did the final walk out inspection with leasing office management, they mentioned charges on painting and cleaning. Which I understand that part. They never mentioned to me "damages" on cabinet when we walk together for inspection. So beware all those expenses to live in this property. Also communication is lacking especially during power outage (we lived in newer building), sewer is unusual sky high in the last few months, even we are using same amount. I was told they will follow with resident after contact provider, but never follow up.Property Manager Responded

New property and nice location but expensive and corners were cut
December 19, 2021I've been here for about a year and a half now. First resident in my apartment and it's clear corners were taken during construction. None of the problems are end of the world, but things you would have expected to be taken care of with a new property have been treated as you would expect an older complex to do. I'm in a first floor apartment and you can constantly hear RUNNING not just dripping water from the second story A/C to the drain on the first floor. Kitchen water pipes freeze in the ...winter. Everything is still settling so cracks everywhere - window edges and trim in particular. The property is generally quiet, but you can hear cars on Plfumm 24/7. Of a night I can hear my neighbors through the wall and I constantly am listening to my upstairs neighbors stomping from room to room. Higher than expected electric bill - $130ish for a 3 bedroom. Dog/car wash area still hasn't been finished. Not hot tub, but nice pool area. Rent jumped $148 on renewal and only option was an 11 month lease even though I see they are now offering 16 month.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Mixed Bag
September 9, 2021Good things: the apartments are nice - new, spacious, modern, and well lit. Washer and dryer are provided. Garage unit has room for car and storage. Pool is beautiful when it is open. Valet trash service was recently added, which is a nice benefit. Pet friendly place. The maintenance guys and leasing agent are really nice and helpful. Bad things: management is inflexible when it comes to late fees. Grace period is only 3 days and you can't prepay online. I thought I had paid my rent ...but had forgotten and they wouldn't waive the fee - for a first time offense. They also charged 10% of the rent! Speaking of rent, they are raising it $100s at time. They do not provide all the amenities they list on their site, such as the dog wash station or the car service area, which is supposed to have water and a vacuum but only has the latter.
