Poor quality
February 12, 2026Apartments not secure enough. Cars get broken into over nights. Bad / poor policy. Parking a car for a week without driving it , it will be towed. And you have to deal with getting the car back , deal with the costs yet you ya resident of the apartments Apartments Expensive yet Small and old . I had more than 15 maintenance requests for the same issue. They got number for maintenance but no one ever responded. Submitted through the online portal but takes time to resolve too. Poor ...Management, the staff really don’t care . Looks like they just there because they work there . Poor Customer Service. Moving
April 21, 2021I had file my application I got approved that was on Monday and my moving date was supposed to be on Friday. They really have no type of communication I’m the one that have to keep calling to ask if I’m really qualified to move in mind you today is Wednesday . Terrible cable/internet
September 29, 2019AT&T U-verse internet and Dish is provided through a third party and is very slow to help if there are any issues. There are no other options even if you wanted to switch. I've just been told there is an outage and technicians are "working on it."Property Manager Responded

Some problems, but good space for what you pay
January 13, 2019I've been living at Scarborough Lakes for almost a year now. Let's start with the big things I wish I knew: There ARE cockroaches, packages delivered to my door get stolen (delivered to leasing office is OK), and neighbors are loud. I initially was really excited with my 1 bedroom apartment -- it really is a great price for the amount of space you get. The kitchen is outdated, but everything works perfectly. I have had multiple problems with cockroaches in the apartment. I call to report ...this to the office. Except, you have to call in every single week to let them know you want your apartment treated on Thursdays. I've had multiple treatments, and not seen any improvement. I'm not even notified with a confirmation that someone indeed came to spray/ treat my apartment, or that anyone entered at all. I'm on the 2nd floor, so it's not a "ground floor" issue. I've also had problems with very noisy neighbors (playing music so loud I can hear every word clearly, anywhere from 12 midnight to 4am). I let the office know, and multiple "notices" were sent to the neighbors... but it was a very long time (2 months) before they were not playing loud music anymore. Walls seem generally thin -- especially the ceiling where you can hear your upstairs neighbors. I've lived in other apartments and never had as bad of an issue with upstairs neighbor noise as in this apartment. The laundry unit in my apartment has not worked completely since I've been here, either washer or dryer is broken. There is one washer/dryer for 10-12 apartment residences. I just pay for a laundromat. Neighbors in my unit dump junkmail from mailboxes right on the sidewalk/ stairwell at the entrance of the apartment, instead of throwing it out in the dumpster or their own garbage. People throw garbage into the bushes and strip of grass in the front of the apartments. Aside from that, the office staff are very nice, especially answering all of my questions as a new resident. The fitness center is very small, but does have a treadmill and some weights. I like the balcony designs, which seem to give you a bit of privacy while sitting out on a summer evening. I only have to drive a mile down the road for any groceries or other shopping to do, and only minutes away to I-65 or 465 for easy commute anywhere. Overall, could be worse, but also could be better. If there were no cockroaches or neighbor problems, I'd say this place is great.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

The leasing agents made it very easy for me to understand the process, and made my experience very pleasurable! I just love my new home! Don’t Do It
September 10, 2018I recently lived in Scarborough lakes Apartments for 2 way when I discovered I had Bed Bugs I Let The Complex Know And they blamed me for bringing in the Bed Bugs (which was definitely not true) I had The Health department come out and inspect and they found Bed Bug fecile matter meaning there was evidence of Bed Bugs , The Health department wrote a letter and the Complex still didn’t care to do anything! Okay Place
July 15, 2018For the most part, I like the complex. Maintenance has been quick in their response times, however some things are beyond fixable. The biggest complaint I have is the lack of choices when it comes to cable/internet providers. The only provider for internet is AT&T, and the only cable provider is what the apartment management company provides (they have their own service for residents). An AT&T rep installed my internet service and told me that other parts of the complex have higher speeds than my ...building, which seems pretty unfair. But speeds in this complex are about 25 mbps on average. The AT&T rep also told me that this apartment complex has potential to receive fiber (internet speeds up to 1000 mbps), but the property management would not allow AT&T to install fiber optic internet lines. If fiber was available here, I would rate higher. DSL is an outdated form of internet. I hope that the Management will come to their senses and allow fiber installation as it is a benefit to them and residents of this community.Property Manager Responded

Scarborough lake is bad
December 14, 2017I stayed for 2years my roof was leaking I put in work order several times no response. The staircase is not clean. People deal with drugs in that apartment many drug arrests. Bad for Business
November 17, 2017I have been living here almost 2 years and I will have to say as soon as my lease is up I'M MOVING. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. First the office staff is HORRIBLE, they DON'T answer the phones and when they do they have attitudes. They fake act to busy to return calls and lack manners and respect. I don't work for you, you work for the customer and their customer service SUCKS. They ALL need to be fired. They take all day to put in for maintenance requests and lie about having did it days ...later. I would not recommend anyone to move her mainly because off HORRIBLE customer service.Property Manager Responded
