Excellent place to live
February 16, 2026Anyone who comes to visit Scottish Towers and my apartment can not believe that this place exists. It is really paradise. Drive out back and get out of the car and walk out to the dock and the view is extraordinary and it’s all yours! I hear no one inside my apartment and the property is well taken care of. April 7, 2018I've enjoyed almost 5yrs of happiness at Scottish Towers. I've had a couple of minor issues recently, but each time the matter was quickly addressed & resolved in a pleasant and respectful manner by Gayle (our community manager),Linda (asst. Mgr.) & maintenance. I am very pleased. In times of hurricane or other emergency I feel protected. I love early mornings on our pier and all the colorful flowers. I would like to see more flowers in the outer courtyards. The pool is sparkling with a resort ...feel. The location can't be beat. I have no desire to live elsewhere. Beware
December 13, 2017Have lived here for several years and have to caution everyone that it is not as it appears or how they represent themselves. The building is crumbling. Elevators are constantly out of order. Many apartments have leaks and plumbing issues. They claim to have lots of activities but they have very few. Carpeting and flooring is about as cheap as you can get. They won’t show you your apartment until you sign the lease. They will show you a model apartment that they have spent a lot in all sorts of ...upgrades - but you have to pay for those upgrades in your place. Water, sewer, garbage and cable are all additional costs. You don’t just pay for your water - you pay a portion of the entire complex. They have some long term residents who don’t pay for water so you also pay their water usage and their share of the community water (pool, clubhouse, landscaping). The water bills are based on the apartments square footage so a single person in a 2 bedroom pays twice as much as a couple living in a studio. Finally, when a bad review is written on any site, they ask residents to write a favorable one - and even give them suggested comments to make.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Holiday Season At Scottish Towers
November 22, 2017The team at Scottish Towers have done an amazing job at decorating the clubhouse and the outside lighting here. I left all my Christmas decorations back home when I moved here so it is so nice to go to the clubhouse and it totally has a wonderful feeling of the holidays! November 16, 2017The community is an older community with so many wonderful upgrades, set back on the water so it is quiet and peaceful. I moved in from the midwest 3 years ago and let me tell you not missing the snow instead I'm enjoying the fishing pier and watching the beautiful sunsets and wildlife. Now my sister and her husband are ready to apply for an apartment here and enjoy what I enjoy about this place. They have hot coffee everyday in the clubhouse and planned activities! Life is Amazing at Scottish Towers ll
November 14, 2017I live alone here and feel safe! The community is so quiet and peaceful! I had family members stay in the guest suite here and they loved it and when they retire they plan on being my neighbor in the near future! The clubhouse provides hot coffee everyday so we all meet and it is like having my family in Florida. They provide several grills here to cook on and the pool is heated in the winter which is a plus. Where living is easy
November 14, 2017I moved in here 3 years ago from the Midwest, I was sick of the cold and snow and found Scottish Towers on line and I was so excited when I finally got to Florida and saw how beautiful the community and the view from the fishing pier is amazing. I get to watch dolphins and other wildlife. I love the pool and it is heated in the winter which is a plus for me. March 24, 2017My Fort Worth based employer reassigned me to Clearwater, and allotted me two months corporate housing in my relocation package to get situated and find a new place, which is a challenge to fit around a heavy work load. I found this place on a Saturday. I was surprised but glad they were even open on a weekend. The office personnel was fantastic and helped make the move pretty seamless. This place is a hidden gem, awesome location next to Honeymoon Island, a bike trail and a pretty cool village, ...Dunedin. This is my first time renting in long time, but I've got to say I'm glad I found this place. Found my BLISS!
December 21, 2015This community is just that. A community. The neighbors are so friendly, the staff is very gracious and kind. The ladies in the office are so helpful and understanding. I couldn't ask for a more beautiful and peaceful home. The space in the apartment I'm in is beautiful. Floor to ceiling mirrors in the living room, a view of the dock and sunset and amazing view of the beautiful 85 degree year round pool in the courtyard. I am go grateful to have found this apartment and am now surrounded with ...such amazing and hospitable people. The maintenance crew here has been so helpful with my move in. Their are some concrete walls that I didn't have a drill with the capabilities of hanging my paintings and they came up in a specific window of time and were so kind while helping.
