not worth the trouble
October 8, 2022If you want to have an enjoyable time living here don’t have pets, make sure you don’t make maintenance mad, and make sure your apartment is 110 percent clean if maintenance has to stop by. Maintenance said that my cats had went on my carpet, and the people in the office took there word as the gospel truth. When maintenance stopped by to fix something in my apartment I hadn’t had a day off in 2 weeks and I hadn’t had time to clean. So they ran back to the office, and I couldn’t renew my lease.Review from Apartments.com

We've signed on for another year!
June 13, 2017With so many "luxury" apartments going up in Kenosha, I think people are forgetting about the service that this great complex offers. Our apartment is huge for the cost! We are so comfortable here. There's plenty of parking and it's so centrally located that it makes hopping onto the interstate for work a breeze. The maintenance staff might be the best in the business. Our AC unit was in need of some TLC and they came the same day with a brand new replacement, installed and ready by the time my ...fiancé and I got home from work! Quiet and Peaceful !
September 26, 2015I have nothing but good things to say about Shagbark Apartments. I have been here about 2 weeks now. It's peaceful I came from a big noisy city environment. They had a pig roast before I moved in, Happy Hours once a month. and a continental breakfast for a week once per month. I here holiday parties are also in store. I called for service and they were their within a day to repair it. As well as a pool, and clubhouse. I have a great patio, washer and dryer in my unit and tons for cabinet space in ...the kitchen. July 27, 2015I have lived here for 12 years and it is more of a community than a complex. The have resident appreciation week each year, and they have a monthly continental breakfast week each month. One of the best apartments I have ever lived in!
April 8, 2014I have lived in many places and Shagbark was one of my favorite places to live. The apartment was very spacious and clean. I never had any problems with bugs which has always been a concern. You can't beat free heat, cooking gas and cable TV! The clubhouse has monthly parties and free breakfast for a week. They treat their residences as family. If I ever move back to the area, I would definitely want to live here again! I am writing this with all honesty.
