Not recommended
January 21, 2022Not well maintained, old appliances and crumbling paint, carpets not tacked. Had to caulk bathroom faucets myself. Outdoor areas not well lit- parking lot light was out for entire year making entrance unsafe. Roaches from pine needle landscaping. Ceiling collapsed in laundry room. Random pool closures. Office staff not available a lot of the time and not very helpful. Maintenance went into apartment to use electricity without prior notice or approval, left door unlocked with key in lock! Took a ...month to receive deposit back-they mailed it to the apartment I had vacated instead of forwarding address. Only positive about the place is the location.Property Manager Responded

Breaks laws, tells you they don't care.
February 3, 2020Unfortunately, this complex admits to breaking the law regarding fees and security deposits, and told me if I wanted them to do the right thing legally, I'd have to take them to court. May 9, 2019I have lived at Shenandoah Ridge for a little bit now and it has been such an amazing experience! The apartments are such a GREAT price for what you get! Not only are you getting a nice apartment but you also are located in Columbia County. You can’t beat that! The staff has also been a big role in how amazing this experience has been. December 18, 2017Management is slow to handle maintenance. Maintenance is slow to non-existence! Non professional work at best, when they decide to show up. Emergency's like heat and air failure is treated with the same not my problem attitude. The pool when opened is usually filthy. Moved in for the school system but never expected to see this in Columbia county. The one star is for the neighbourhood. Even the parking lots usually are littered with broken bottles and beer cans, when I called because I ...gotten a flat tire from the glass manager seemed unfazed. August 14, 20152BR 2BA Apt - was clean and newly painted upon move in. The community is very safe, while the management and the community are friendly. Parking is sorely inadequate, I often have to park a long way from my building and told nothing can be done about it. The apartment was advertised as energy efficient but on the second (top) floor air conditioning is inadequate, leaving the apt very hot in summer and the bill is outrageous, in spite of numerous requests attempts and some to service the unit. ...I have been told all of the upstairs apt are the same or worse. Maintenance requests handled promptly, but the work is sometimes shoddy. I have yet see monthly pest control that is to come and now there are roaches.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
