  • Awful management

    January 5, 2023
    Lady in the office was extremely rude and unprofessional. She told me I was approved for an apartment but then ghosted me. When I finally got a hold of her, she said we were denied by corporate. When I asked if there was anything I could do, she yelled at me. I'm actually glad because I would not want her as management of the place I live.

  • Military orders dont actually break the lease?

    I can't write my full review because this won't allow enough characters, so sorry if this isn't very detailed... Basically after my money order went missing in the drop box somehow, I explained to her that the drop box was full and my money order may have gotten stuck. She got defensive and tried to argue with me saying that no, that issue had already been fixed. After having to pay a $30 fee at my own cost to have the bank cancel the missing money order and have another sent, I started ...
    personally handing her my rent. That's when I noticed she wasn't in the office on Fridays. My husband had been doing his best to keep her updated on when he might be getting his orders since the day we moved in. It was the beginning of the month and just that previous month he had told her it would probably be within a few weeks. We were moving on a Saturday and once again she wasn't in the office on that Friday. I slipped our keys and a copy of his orders in the drop box along with a note because there was no way we could put off our move. The note basically said we were sorry we missed her on that Friday and that we included the keys etc. She then called my phone that following Monday to tell me we had given her ZERO notice and that she was in the office all day but also running errands all day (?). We had another military friend who had no issue breaking his lease so all I can think is she didn't want higher ups catching wind that she doesn't come to work on Fridays. Just be careful, she doesn't seem very professional and will throw you under the bus to save her job

    We've lived here for over five years and never seen so much effort being put into this property. We have a new grill area and a new playground for my grandkids. The manager is nice and she listens. I think we will stay here awhile longer!

  • Month and a Half Without A/C

    April 15, 2017
    I've been here for a few years now, and most of the time it was a decent experience. I've had to drop it down to 2 stars, however, because we're just starting to endure the Texas summer and I've had no A/C for a month and a half. I've notified the management office several times and still no A/C. This is not the first time a maintenance request has gone to the wayside, regardless of multiple requests and reminders. The people are great, and the apartments are clean and cozy, but the maintenance ...
    leaves a lot to be desired in a state where the summer heat is brutal... I've had to resort to buying a few window units at this point because it seems like the A/C is simply not getting fixed.

    I had my wife stay here while I was in AF training. It was just what we needed, safety was my number one concern and that was fulfilled, they have security cameras around the premises. My wife has been there for the past 5 and a half months and we have never had any issues. I would definitely recommend this place

  • Not a bad place to live

    I've lived at SE for going on two years. I live in a one bedroom apartment. Every time I've had a maintenance issue it's been taken care of in a timely manner. WHen I first moved here, the office staff was downright unpleasant. There is new management now and they are very helpful and polite. There are two laundry facilities, both fairly small. They have recently renovated so they are nicer but still need improvement. There is a pool and you are required to have a pool pass. This is new this ...
    year. Last year the pool was barely open but this year they renovated that as well so it's been open, but there are always tons of people in it. Overall it's very quiet here. I haven't ever felt unsafe when walking around the complex.

    Don't waste your time or you'll regret it. Cops always seem to be around because of the tenants, domestic fights almost every weekend outside, children left to run around outside without being watched at all hours. The WORST I've ever seen and will never recommend this place. Just tear the place down...
