Great Location & No Rules
May 5, 2026Location is excellent, the maintenance staff are responsive and professional, and the amenities are genuinely superb. If those three things are all you care about, you'll be happy here. Management is a different story. Their entire approach to community policy consists of sending spam-style "friendly reminder" emails about lease rules — covered vehicles, storage, parking, you name it — and then doing absolutely nothing to enforce any of them. The notices land in your inbox. The deadlines pass. ...The violations continue. Nothing happens. If you're looking for an apartment community that offers free covered vehicle storage, this is the place. Technically it's against the lease. Practically, the lease doesn't apply here — at least not to anyone management decides not to enforce it against. Tenants who actually follow the rules get to watch the tenants who don't enjoy zero consequences, while management sends out the next reminder email. If you want a property where the rules in your lease are the rules that get enforced, look elsewhere. If you want oceanfront proximity, a great gym, and the freedom to ignore whatever lease provisions you find inconvenient, Sheridan Ocean Club delivers.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Mistreatment by staff
March 19, 2026Overall, I really love living here. There is current construction around the waterway, so parking is tight. The staff have been very upfront, sending extensive emails stating that parking outside designated spots violates the lease and can result in towing. Because of how strict they are, I repeatedly notified the office that someone was parking for days in the handicap spot outside my apartment with no visible permit. The space is clearly marked with pavement and signage. One of the leasing ...staff, who lives in the building next to me, told me he didn’t know whose truck it was. Later, I saw the driver—it was him. When I asked why he had said he didn’t know whose truck it was and questioned the handicap parking, he yelled at me multiple times, “why do you care?” This level of unprofessionalism, disregard for rules tenants must follow, and yelling at a resident is unacceptable. I never raised my voice and did not deserve that treatment. I called the office and was told my concern would be passed to his boss. I hope that happens. It’s unacceptable to be treated this way by someone representing the community. I’m disappointed to leave this review because I do love living here, but after multiple attempts to resolve the original issue without hearing anything back it’s clear escalation is necessary. October 1, 2025There’s no parking, when your a server who works late you come later and the only options is grass sometimes so there’s that, and no propane in the grills for a week plus. Pool is nice though and no neighbor problems.Property Manager Responded

September 16, 2025Roof leak that is obviously not new and not being repaired correctly. Lily in the office has been so helpful throughout the whole moving in process though. The gates rarely work. It would be better if they just took them down.Property Manager Responded

September 16, 2025I really do love it here, but I have seen a lot of aggresive breed dogs. Pitbulls, German Shepards... I've actually been almost bit twice by Laboradors. In the past it wasn't this way.Property Manager Responded

September 16, 2025Been here over a month. Everyone in the office seems friendly and helpful. Had to turn in a few maintance requests and it did not take them long to get to my request. Lawn is kept and the dumpster cans are emptied daily. Very pet friendly. Over all, this is a nice place to live and only 3 miles from the beach.Property Manager Responded

September 14, 2025The apartment is great. Maintenance requests are completed quickly, usually within the same day. The pool areas are clean and well maintained. Our only complaint is the entrance gait. It’s always broken or the guest code we have doesn’t work and we can’t enter through the back entrance gate. Also the key card to the gym area doesn’t work and we usually need someone else to let us in.Property Manager Responded
