One of the Worst manager
June 15, 2024Visited the place for viewing the apartment that was pre-scheduled. The manager was very rude. Her behavior was so bad that I left the place without even looking at the apartments.Review from Apartments.com
A Beautiful Building Deserves Better Management
December 18, 2020I moved to Sheridan Tower for its elegance, emenities, and -- most of all -- it was CHILL. The vibe changed the instant the new manager arrived: Immature, disorganized, and petty. They installed cameras on the terrific rooftop deck because of ONE incident, so I stopped going. I understand the need to schedule gym time because of COVID but I've stopped going because I just can't deal with management. I send my laundry out now. Sheridan Tower is an excellent place to be a homebody; ...however, outside of your apartment, the property is becoming a trashy daycare center. It's a shame, and a sad end to my otherwise fantastic experience at Sheridan Tower.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Poor management
September 30, 2020Unfortunately I strongly advise not renting from Horizon here right now. The current property manager at the 5650 North Sheridan building has really ruined the atmosphere here. It's become a stressful, hostile environment and managed more like a college dorm. We receive constant emails (an average of one every other day in the month of August). Some have told us literally how to do laundry and take out trash...ridiculous! There are increased unnecessary restrictions however rent only increases as ...the living environment promoted has drastically declined. The behaviors of a few notoriously violent and nasty neighbors are promoted and not handled professionally by property manager. Many residents who have lived here for several years are stressed, frustrated and exhausted by current property manager including myself. It’s sad because it was once a great place to live and most tenants are really friendly, kind and fun. Current management has really ruined it here.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
