Honest Review from a Resident
April 7, 2026I want to give an honest and balanced review of Silver Collection at the Park. There are definitely many positive aspects of living here. Most of the staff (with one exception) are friendly, helpful, and easy to work with. The community itself is quiet and peaceful, which is very important for families. They also organize events for residents, which is a nice touch. Breakfast being included is a big plus, especially if you have kids. Amenities like bike storage, grill areas, billiards, and ...kids’ activities make the place enjoyable overall. However, there are also some downsides that should be mentioned. Cleanliness is inconsistent. The steam room has never been operational, even though we were told before signing the lease that it was only a temporary issue. The sauna barely works and only reaches around 131°F, which is far below normal expectations. Many bikes in the fitness/yoga area are in poor condition. There are also occasional issues with the apartment AC. Trash service is another concern — sometimes it is not collected for 2–4 days, yet residents are limited to disposing of only two bags at a time, which creates an inconvenient situation, especially for families. That said, the most challenging part of our experience has been related to management. From the very beginning, our interactions with one of the managers, Jenny Torrence, have been unnecessarily difficult. During the leasing process, after we had already chosen a unit, we were repeatedly encouraged to switch to other, less suitable options. After that, additional documentation requirements kept appearing day after day, which significantly delayed the process. Later, due to a bank-related delay during extreme weather (not on my side, and I had full proof of funds and transaction), I was required to pay using money orders for six months. While I complied, the process has been inconvenient and requires waiting for access to the office each time. Communication has consistently felt unwelcoming and unnecessarily strict, which creates ongoing stress rather than support. Another major concern is the lack of transparency in billing. While the lease outlined a certain structure (including concessions spread across months), the actual monthly charges vary significantly, making it very difficult to understand or predict payments. Extremely Noisy
December 29, 2025I would give zero stars if that was an option! These apartments are TERRIBLE when it comes to noise! That’s all you get living here! There is very loud trucks at ALL hours and you can hear it inside your unit. The constant beeping noise when you’re trying to sleep is extremely irritating! You can hear sirens, traffic, garbage trucks pushing dumpsters, dogs barking. It truly never ends!!!!! Huntersville is not the same anymore! Trash at the park
October 19, 2025Worst apartments I have ever lived at when it comes to noise! I can hear dogs barking from the other buildings all the time! It becomes so draining hearing them bark while their owners don’t do a thing about it! Very careless people living here! All you get living here is a headache from the dogs and extremely loud trucks! Once you are sleeping you wake up to trucks after 3:00 AM like they are inside your place. Apparently, garbage trucks pushing dumpsters is allowed in this DUMP!!!!!!!!!Property Manager Responded

Very noisy

Construction Dump
July 31, 2025I regret signing a lease here. It seemed nice at first but it’s been anything but that with one thing after another! The AC is terrible here and always breaking down! Couldn’t agree more with the recent reviews. The buildings here were so poorly built on many levels. The noise levels are TERRIBLE! Many sleepless nights! I can hear everything in the parking lot, streets nearby, construction that never ends, drilling by the sidewalks that sounds like it’s inside my apartment! Dogs barking ...throughout the property. Again, with recent other reviews - I couldn’t agree more. The events are fun here but besides that, living here has been miserable. And when I spoke to other neighbors, they also mentioned they can hear construction and the loud trucks. This is happening even at night with a garbage truck driving on Kincey - waking everyone up! Management doesn’t care to resolve these issues that many tenants have been complaining about! Read all the reviews to see what’s really happening. I am looking forward to the day I get out of here. Great Location, Sub-Par Building Quality
July 28, 2025Incredible location and fairly nice apartments. Unfortunately these pretty decent apartments are seriously hindered by sub-par construction. SO much in walking distance, and you're two minutes from getting on 77. We had some hiccups with maintenance at first but overall they've been good and knowledgeable. Bam works especially hard. The event coordinator Corey is really great as well. For a couple of the buildings, all the outside AC units are under the buildings in these "cages" that are ...partially open to the air. This means there's a bunch of units all spitting out hot air that's getting trapped by the ceiling and can't escape very well. Our AC slowly works less and less in the summer months until it fails. This isn't something that should just fall on the maintenance staff to try and deal with, this needs a redesign. The units under my building (directly under 2/3's of our floor! I'm sure that's not helping with the indoor temps) were between 120 and 150 degrees. The cage-room itself was about 130. A unit for another building that had been baking in the sun all day but is open to the air (like a *normal* setup) was only 110. Air conditioning is only able to maintain a certain difference in temperature between outdoor and indoor. If it's hotter where the outside unit is, it's not going to be able to cool the inside as much. This setup is putting unnecessary strain on the units, causing them to fail. There's not a single 90-degree corner in the place. Every ceiling, wall, and floor is wavy. Vibrations travel like crazy from the upstairs units. You don't hear music or talking or the TV, but footsteps cause creaking and thumping, and heavy footsteps or pets or dropping things can cause bangs that shake the ceiling, walls, and floors of the below units. They somehow constructed them with nearly zero mechanical isolation between floors. You hear water rushing quite loudly from the showers and toilets of the units above you in the walls of the bathrooms (which sometimes also means the walls of a bedroom. I'd rather have lower ceilings and have that extra space used for better construction. This obviously isn't something they can really change _now_, but it's something you'll have to live with. It just seems like they were not built or designed well.Property Manager Responded

Do NOT live here!
July 20, 2025If you enjoy peace and quiet, do NOT live here! The walls and floors and cheap windows are paper thin! If your apartment faces the pool, you will hear noise very often. If your apartment is near the trash compactor, it’s extremely noisy! Very loud trucks and the constant beeping noises when they back up is very irritating! And almost daily basis, between 3-4:00 AM there is a very loud truck that sounds like a bulldozer slamming metal down nearby. The loud sounds reminds me of a bowling alley. ...This place is overpriced GARBAGE and literally feels like you’re camping out in the actual streets with all the constant noise! On top of that, the hallways are disgusting, carpets are soiled in spots and smells, elevators sometimes has pet waste not cleaned up and regardless of floor - you will hear your neighbors! could be 5 stars
July 9, 2023Been here for about a week now, it would be close to 5 stars if I couldn't hear the people above and all around me me stomping, talking, and pretty much do anything through the whole night and day, I can hear every time they walk anywhere in their apartment, I can hear every time they flush a toilet, every time they open a drawer and close it, I can pretty much hear everything :D, and the entire parking lot is full by night time, I'm writing this review because I read through reviews and wish ...there were more, I saw someone from 2018 say exactly what I'm saying now and that's the only review I saw say that, so I thought it was just their bad luck and maybe it actually was just their bad luck and mine too I guess. Don't live in building 4!!!
July 29, 2021They tried to sell us on living in the building that overlooks the pool and has the club house downstairs....to make extra money from us I'm sure. Biggest mistake of my life. There is noise at the pool constantly and it sounds like it's coming right from inside your apartment...and there's nothing they do about it. People will have parties out there til 11 pm just yelling. The security here is a JOKE. The guy literally told us he couldn't do anything about it even though the people partying and ...screaming were breaking pool rules bc they were there after close. And the walls are paper thin. I can hear my neighbors TV. It's awful and the woman living above me stomps constantly and we kept complaining and they said they'd move us to a different apartment on the top floor. Never happened. Terrible Management
April 21, 2021I have been a resident at this complex for 8 months and all was great until the management company changed. My car has been towed 3 times without any notice, which the lease mandates!!! Management is under the impression that only tenants must honor the lease agreement. The property manager, April is completely unresponsive to residents and is very rude and dismissive if you ever do get in contact with her. I guess she thinks only her time is valuable. Dont live here!
March 6, 2019We have lived here for 8 months now and we loved it at first but then about a month or two in we needed maintenance but no one answers the phone ever at the leasing office. If you go up there you hear it ring and no one answers it. This place is a joke and not worth the money we pay so save your money and rent somewhere else. We can hear everything that happens above us and I mean everything. We hear dogs constantly barking in other apartments from our apartment with the door shut. We can also ...hear every word spoken in the breezeway. The apartments are not well insulated. Not to mention they put a sticker on my car threatening to tow it because I havnt gotten my registration sticker in the mail yet! They are rude inconsiderate of laws that give you leaneancy on your tag (but let a car that was undrinkable sit in the lot for 6 months) and the office people never know what is going on EVER!
