Highly satisfied with my apartment here/experience with mgmt
July 14, 2019This is one of the best values in Montgomery County. You will not find anywhere else with 2-3 bedroom apartments with hardwood floors, new appliances, free parking, and patios or balconies at these prices in the highly-coveted downtown Silver Spring area. The property is well-maintained inside and out. It is generally very quiet although many children live in the building. The most noise I ever hear is the Ride On bus announcing stops, but it doesn’t run overnight. The manager is professional yet ...warm. She has always responded promptly to my questions and concerns and, when needed, will follow up to make sure I am aware of next steps. There is preventative pesticide application, but it is scheduled with several days advance notice to tenants. However, if anyone who sees pests in between those scheduled visits should let her know. We’ve been tenants for two years and have no plans to move. It’s an ideal location if you want urban living in Montgomery County without either paying luxury apartment prices or sacrificing comfort and safety. I know several residents who have been happy here for a decade.Property Manager Responded

NEVER MOVE IN HERE! ITS THE WORST! MANAGEMENT IS AWFUL!
July 9, 2019I have been living here for two years. Within a year, we started having a lot of problems here. The hallways always smell like burned food combinations and cigarettes. There’s all types of bugs everywhere. Property manager is never in the office or is found outside walking her dog or smoking. When she is in the office, she’s very rude to you and make you feel very uncomfortable. The building looks like crap in the inside. I’ve called for maintenance to come paint my apartment almost three months ...ago and I still got no response to it. Mind you, it hasn’t been painted since I’ve moved in. People are very loud all day and night. People throw parties very late at night. You can hear anything from the other floors from the air vents and hear a lot of fighting. Also, rent keeps going up like crazy but we see no improvements at all within the property. I would not recommend anyone to move in this apartment.Property Manager Responded

Great place to live
December 4, 2018I decided to write my review as a response to some of the misleading feedback left here about the property and personnel running it. If you’re looking for a space within 10/15 minutes of walk to/from Metro and Downtown and stay in nice quite residential area surrounded by the great parks and walk trails – this is the place. It should be mentioned that the unit is pretty good sized and well lighted thanks to the good big windows installed in it. For me it was one of another reasons and factors ...to choose that property as my residency here in Silver Spring. As of the periodic maintenance work performed on the property by the staff running the shop. I believe that it is a very good sign that people responsible to do so, do actually care and invest their efforts to maintain the place in good shape and keep it running well. Seen the opposite and know when it is not the case. As a conclusion and free advice - come over, look around, walk around, talks with residents and check the surroundings in order to get the true sense about the place. Worst apartment ever
January 30, 2018I forgot to write a review here but here It goes. Worst apartments ever. Worst management I have ever seen in my life. They shut off your water whenever they feel like it. They come in your apartment whenever they feel like it. They don’t care about your privacy or peace. Management has to be the worst ever. They are extremely rude. Just don’t waste your time here. It seems tempting because of the price. I made that mistake and I figured it wouldn’t be That Bad. It was so bad I couldn’t wait ...to leave this place. One the biggest highlights of 2017 for me was moving out of this place to a better more friendly apartment building in silver spring.Property Manager Responded

August 15, 2015It's a really great and quiet neighborhood, but to be honest, there are a lot of problems with the tenants and the facilities of the buildings. Decent but can't be beat for the price
August 12, 2015SSH is within walking distance from the SS metro. It also has Bikeshare access as well. For the area its a decent price and the one bedrooms are enormous in comparison. Unfortunately, the people that live in the building aren't the best neighbors. They dont have any pride or much respect for the building.
