Great place to live!!
August 16, 2023I have been a tenant at Silver Brick Lofts for, I would say going on 11 yrs. I like the location, but I like the staff more... they are kind and helpful, From Kimaira, Juan, Danny, Miguel, Amanda and Myrna, they are all very kind people willing to go above and beyond when needed, the upkeep of the building is done on a daily basis.. I have never had an issue with the office here.. well I did but that was back when it was still Morgan Square.. The building does have issues but it isn't the ...staffing's fault, residence and visitors should also do their part in keeping it clean.. some throw trash in the hall ways, after the cleaning crew has done their rounds.. The residence should refrain from letting people in who are standing near the entrance when they are coming in, and even if they don't live here they follow u into the building.. this isn't the staffing's fault! Staffing does their best to maintain a clean and a healthy environment for the tenants. I honestly can not complain about the building I live in, I have no insect, mice or any other issues. June 27, 2022They have rescheduled on me for a viewing 5 times in the last 3 weeks. Well have it scheduled, then all of a sudden "I'm sorry the leasing agent unfortunately has to reschedule". Do not live here if you love your pet
May 24, 2021I'm going on vacation and have cats. I live alone and hired a cat sitter. They are refusing to give me a spare key because I told them it is for the cat sitter I hired. Apparently if I had just asked for a spare key but not explained what I needed it for, I wouldn't have to worry about my cats starving while I'm on vacation. They won't even let me get a parking pass even though that has nothing to do with them, it's through the springfield parking authority and they just collect it with the rent. ...I am moving as soon as possible.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Not that great honestly
February 4, 2021With how much we pay for this apartment you’d think it’d be better then it actually is. The staff in the leasing office are super rude and very hard to get ahold of. I understand we’re in a pandemic but it shouldn’t be this hard to try to get ahold of someone and when you do they either aren’t helpful or just plain rude. We’ve not had actual hot water in days, only lukewarm water which during January when is below freezing isn’t the best. There’s usually always a homeless person in the hallways ...or just a random person sleeping in the hallway/stairway. The air conditioner that is in all year round leaks freezing cold air in. Honestly the only good part about this apartment is it’s close to Theodores and the maintenance staff who are always friendly and helpful. October 8, 2020Don't get fooled by the new appliances, units might look nice but too many issues and the staff in the management office are super rude after you rent a unit , they are super friendly and helpful during the application process but once moved it , staff turns rude ! Walls are thin and neighbors can be heard , windows are old , electrical outlets come off the walls and water draining system is awful. January 27, 2018I absolutely love livng here. The staff are friendly, the apartments are spacious and the people are friendly. The only downside is the parking garage elevator, it rarely works.
