from the second floor of the apartment, cracks and gaps in the windows and doors, leaky bathroom and kitchen fixtures, and just overall negligent maintenance practices. Number two is the cleanliness of the property, the last time I checked there was still debris from Hurricane Irma stockpiled in different parts on the property. Eventually if ever when the discrepancies are "fixed" the problem still persist as if no one had even attempted to do their job. (If you don't have fleas you have ants and if you don't have ants or fleas you have roaches and if you don't have any you have friend who has told you about home defense)The upside to this place is that the rent is extremely reasonable. The layout is great and you're close to everything. If you're moving here temporarily until you get on your feet then it doesn't get any better in terms of cost BUT... if you are thinking long term (if you could afford it) I would recommend to go some place else. So long story short if you don't want to come out of pocket to ensure the fixes are done right, plan on staying a while, are afraid of bugs, and don't enjoy finding out if your roof leaks the hard way don't do it.
