Very Disappointed With Management & Maintenance
I have lived at Skylar Point for 2 years, and unfortunately, my experience has continued to get worse. There are issues in my apartment that still have not been properly resolved after two years. Maintenance requests often feel like they are only addressed if you repeatedly contact and hound management. Even when maintenance does come out, the work is frequently not done properly or the underlying issue remains.

frustrating is that my rent has been increased despite these ongoing problems and unresolved maintenance issues. It is extremely disappointing to be paying more while basic concerns in the apartment are still being neglected.
I also have a 9-month-old baby, and the current living conditions are not suitable for a family, especially an infant. I should not have to repeatedly ask for problems in my home to be taken seriously or resolved.
As for management, Chelsea is always friendly and has a smile on her face, but at this point, the smile and friendliness don't mean much when the actual problems aren't being addressed. Things may seem nice on the surface, but residents need action, communication, and accountability—not just a friendly interaction.
There are also concerns about management's availability at the property. The posted schedule says Skylar Point is staffed Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, while Kenal Place is Tuesday and Thursday. However, from my experience, it often feels like management spends more time at the second property and is rarely available or attentive to residents at Skylar Point when they are supposed to be there.
After two years of living here, I expected the unresolved issues to have been taken care of by now. Instead, I feel like I have had to repeatedly chase management just to get basic issues addressed.
I would strongly encourage anyone considering moving here to do their research, ask current residents about their experiences, and pay close attention to how maintenance and management actually respond after you move in. A nice-looking property means very little if the people responsible for maintaining it don't follow through.
