Waste of Money
December 2, 2025From the moment I moved in, the building has been plagued with issues. It began with a persistent mothball odor, followed by a sudden, overwhelming smell that turned out to be from dead rats. Soon after came the trash stench in the lobby, accompanied by a roach infestation. The gym hasn’t fared any better—most of the equipment has been broken for months, despite repeated signs claiming repairs are “coming soon.” Imagine an entire building sharing two functioning cardio machines. A Masterclass in Poor Management
September 19, 2025If you enjoy waiting forever for basic maintenance and paying higher rent for zero improvements, this is the place for you! We’ve been patiently waiting for over a YEAR for management (Ms. Iglesias and Ms. Yukenavitch, take a bow) to fix a structural problem with a floor to ceiling window that leaks water, lets in drafts, and literally separates from the wall. Spoiler alert: still not fixed. But hey, at least our rent went up! That’s progress, right? The building is also home to thriving pest ...populations, general filth and amenities that never seem to work (i.e. elevators that never work leading to long line before and after work, broken gym equipment, gross pool that might give you an infection etc.), making it a real charm to live in. And who could forget their delightful package and delivery policies that doesn't allow deliveries to the apartment? Nothing like making life harder for elderly and disabled tenants! Bottom line: don’t bother. Unless you love paying top dollar for broken promises, shoddy management, and a lot of wasted time. Renters Beware
July 21, 2024New Renters Beware: Please check with existing tenants prior to signing a contract. The building is very poorly managed. Elevator breakdowns are common and the lobby has a odor of rotting garbage. The apartments periodically smell of smoke and the management does not listen to complains.Review from Apartments.com
Roaches and Filthy
May 13, 2024This place is loaded with roaches ans is dirty. My wife and I went on a tour and we were absolutely disgusted by what we saw. There was a roach crawling up one of the closet walls. The entire downstairs smelled of urine and just bad. Building really out of date elevator was nasty and a few werent working. There were to young guys dealing drugs as my wife and I were walking back to our car. Stay away from this place.Review from Apartments.com
Rude Doorman
May 17, 2023Very rude doorman only one person is on duty after 7:30 pm. It feels like they are Jailers at some point, and you are in jail. they don't get you your packages claiming they are on lunch time! asking you to come back in 1 hour! for a large building like this. It is extremely unsafe, and I am not sure if it is even legal. if a floor catches fire or there is an issue that single door man has to leave the lobby and go check out. at the same time no one is there to help the tenants get their ...packages. Horrible place to live
March 12, 2021Been here 10yrs & it’s been going down hill since the new management company came in. Building is not as clean as it used to be. Elevators are always down & you constantly see roaches in lobby & dog urine in elevators & lobby. Appliances are cheap. Luxury prices & trust me when I say there’s NOTHING luxury about this place. Once you sign your lease, you'll have a hard time trying to get in contact with any of the staff. They are all unprofessional & they change staff here every time you blink ...your eyes. Great Maintenance Experience
August 31, 2020We have had a few great maintenance experiences! Each time something is asked for we receive it, lobby is always cleaned and the building works very well! We love being here it is right in the middle of downtown. We have not one but two terraces in our three bedroom apartment. Everything is close by and all my neighbors are friendly! Cockroaches
August 11, 2020The apartments themselves are nice. That is where the pleasantries end. There has been a growing cockroach problem and the marijuana smell that comes into my apartment is so strong that it wakes me up from sleep. The management says they are "working on it," but this has been ongoing for months now. Avoid this place, as it has gone way downhill since Skyhill took over the building.Property Manager Responded

Great Location, Questionable Management
April 22, 2020The bad: We started living here under different management {Bozuto} but haven’t seen much of a difference other than much needed hallway renovations and unnecessary lobby renovations under the new management {harbor management}. They actually came into our apartment without notice to do misguided ‘upgrades’ due to a technical glitch with their system. However the when we called concerned about someone in our apartment they were very rude and told us to check our emails. It took an angry follow up ...in an unanswered email to figure out what happened. This is just one example of a management crew that generally lacks professional and kind behavior and basic organization. Also they have an amenity and other mandatory utility fees that aren’t included in the advertised rent.....if it’s not optional please just put it in the rent. The good: Actual apartments are nice and the location can’t be beat for commuters and a nice proximity to great restaurants. Apartments have the best closet space in the area. The view from the gym is amazing. Sometimes they give out free booze or food which is nifty.Property Manager Responded

Great Place
October 24, 2019Am a newcomer to Skyline New Rochelle and am so pleased with the care and prompt attention of the leasing team. They have answered all my questions in a timely manner, are friendly and professional and certainly seem very willing to help. The first time I walked into my apartment I knew I was "home." I felt in love with the unusual "triangle" floor-plan, the amazing views of the Long Island sound and all the lovely amenities sold me. Skyline has an amazing state-of-the-art gym and spectacular ...360 views of the Long Island Sound and the city. The building's lobby, hallways and common areas are currently being renovated and the staff are very proactive in letting the tenants know what's going on. Great place to live

Buyer Beware!!!
May 27, 2019There’s not much good that can be said about this property, or especially it’s new management. Horrible is the best descriptive! What was once a positive - the concierge/front desk staff - has been decimated with near 100% turnover since new ownership and management took over in the Fall of 2018. The most inexperienced and unqualified staff have been hired in their place - with clearly no screening or training whatsoever - due to most likely poor recruiting and insufficient salaries. Cheap and ...no quality control is the name of the game with this property! The kitchens are outdated, with broken cabinets and appliances constantly requiring repair. The elevators (often 1/2 of them!) NEVER work and take months to repair with no status updates. The building claims to be non-smoking, yet all they seem to do is rent to chain-smokers and drug addicts who smoke pot 24/7! The hallways and stairwells often reek of smoke, yet management does nothing to address the problem and completely ignores tenant complaints. The rents are outrageous, especially after all the nickel and diming “extras”. They even charge you $4 for a statement/bill each month even though most months it never arrives!Property Manager Responded
