I love living here!
October 9, 2024I have lived here for a couple of years now, along with my favorite furry companion, my dog. We are so happy to have picked Society Hill! It's a small place, so it feels like a condo. It doesn't have a lot of fancy stuff (they have a pool... it's beautiful but that's the only amenity). But they have a lot of open, green spaces for me and my guy to go for a walk, and he just loves meeting new dog friends. The views are amazing (we are near a farm & a church), and the apartments are very, very big! ...Lots of closet space. And I want to take a minute to talk about how wonderful the manager is. She is so attentive and helpful, always ready to help or answer your questions. I can't recommend it enough. There are cheaper places and there are fancier places, but if you're looking for a nice complex that is very homey and they take great care of you, this is the place for you.Property Manager Responded

Really Great Place to Live!
March 21, 2023I have been here for a few years now. I absolutely love this community. The property manager is amazing. She is very responsive and available when you need her, and maintenance is friendly and knowledgeable. Sometimes it takes a few days for him to come by for minor issues I have, but I understand because it's a small complex and it's only him. The after hour maintenance guys have all been so nice and reliable too and they are a phone call away if it's a real emergency. My apartment is spacious ...and large with a really comfortable floorplan. Huge balcony. Nice pool. Very dog friendly. I'm really happy here.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

November 10, 2021Society Hill Apartments is not just an apartment complex but a COMMUNITY!!! Its quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of city life, busy work schedule, etc. People in the Community are nice. During the summer, the pool is amazing. Best of all, the office manager Cher is incredible. She really cares about the tenants and their pets. She's also very professional!!! Major issues are ignored
January 21, 2020Up until recently, I would've given 3 stars but not anymore. For the last several weeks, someone has been smoking inside the building, likely in the stairwell or hallways, and the smell has filled the entire building. It seeps into our apartment and has been causing me migraines and making all of our things smell like stale smoke. If this issue had been dealt with promptly, I would've let it go, but we've been told there's nothing that can be done. I guess I'm just supposed to deal with my ...apartment, myself, and all of my things reeking of stale smoke? No, thank you. Do not live here. Oh, and our heat and a/c have broken four times in a year.Property Manager Responded

Such a great decision!
November 20, 2019I've been living here for about 6 months now. It was looking at Society Hill, and one of the new complexes that have popped up here on the West Shore. I ultimately went with Society Hill because the price was reasonable and I loved the location. Now that I've been here a bit, I'm so happy with the decision I made! My apartment is really quite huge. It has two full bathrooms (not a half bath like some), and big windows so I get a lot of light. My bedroom is huge, and the closet space is awesome. ...The staff has been great (new manager is wonderful). Best of all? I just recently adopted a sweetheart of dog, who is a Pitbull mix. No one else would have let me adopt him because of what he is. And it's a shame, because he is the sweetest big lap dog you'll ever meet. Nice Location
October 9, 2017I lived in this complex for close to 2 years. It is a nice location with friendly tenants. The apartment size is great and there are 2 bathrooms. The staff is attentive. My problem with this community is the rent is high for outdated kitchens with mismatched appliances. The W/D is there but old and not energy efficient. They charge extra for water and sewer but have old toilets that are not water savers. My electric bill was always around $200 mo and I lived alone with 2 small dogs. They clearly ...need to spend some money on renovating especially if they want to get $1000Property Manager Responded

We are upgrading our homes on an ongoing basis with new kitchens and baths, along with appliances, light fixtures, etc. Along with these upgraded models, we still have our standard homes which feature original cabinets and countertops; we are excited to offer both depending on your budget needs! Additionally, there are numerous projects that have been completed including new windows & doors in the apartments, new common hallway windows, roof replacements and swimming pool resurfacing/retiling, just to name a few! Come by and take a look at all our wonderful changes!
