Leasing Office Headache
April 1, 20254 hours ago New STAY AWAY! I have never dealt with such an unprofessional and lazy management in my entire life. I lived here for a year for work and I regret it completely. When the time came for me to get off the lease, I informed the leasing office that I would be leaving March 7 and my roommate would be staying. I told them this early February. The leasing office then said no problem we will get you the paperwork. No problem right? WRONG! The time came for me to move back to California and ...the office said they would just email me everything I needed to sign and I would be off the lease. The paperwork came 3 weeks later via email. 3 WEEKS! I am no longer in the state!! Nonetheless I signed everything and expected them to promptly work on it. But nothing. I then get an email reminding me to pay rent for an apartment I no longer live at. I have called and called and called to resolve this but they do not answer. In fact, I called from my work cell phone and they immediately answer because they probably thought it was a new tenant. The manager, Daisha said "I have someone in my office, so I'll get back to you" I am now still on the lease for an apartment that I no longer live at, even after giving them clear timelines and dates as to when I wanted to be off the lease. I keep trying to reach the office to resolve all of this but I never get a response. I have never dealt with such an unprofessional leasing office in my entire lifeProperty Manager Responded

Okay apartment but overcharges...
January 17, 2023We lived here for 2 years - the apartment was fine but the appliances were old. They functioned but the dishwasher was dirty/hard to keep clean and the stove did not heat up well. We mentioned this several times but they would not replace. Upon move out, we requested walk through and were told we would not learn about the carpet costs until after our lease was done, which is not ok. As a tenant, it is frustrating that we do not have full transparency prior to the lease being done. We then were ...surprised with a full carpet replacement bill because of excessive pet hair. They would not even attempt to clean the carpet and had little proof of excessive pet hair, it was a zoomed in picture in a corner. After some negotiating, they lowered our bill a bit but not much. That being said, the proximity to the different shops and downtown is great. The lack of any amenities was not great, esp in comparison to other complexes in the area. I would not recommend living here as it seems that they are more about the bottom dollar than finding a happy medium with the tenant.Property Manager Responded

As I mentioned in our previous discussion, we always try to clean the carpets first and in this case, we were unable to. The pet hair was only one of the items related to why the carpet was not cleanable which I explained in our correspondence. We are unable to provide the exact charges during the move-out walkthrough because the vendors are always scheduled the day after the move-out is complete. We wouldn't be able to guarantee the condition of the apartment if someone is still living there or in the process of moving out. I hope this information is helpful and thank you for your time.
