Great Maintenance team

Somerset Apartments
January 7, 2025I lived at Arbor View Apartments (now known as Somerset Palms) for 3.5 years, and I have mostly positive things to say about my experience. While the complex had some areas for improvement during my time there, it seems like they've made some impressive upgrades in recent years. Pros: - The apartments are spacious and well-designed, and they've become more luxurious with recent renovations. - The management team is friendly and professional, and they've been consistently responsive to ...maintenance requests and other concerns. - Rent was affordable during my time there (around $800 for a 2-bedroom apartment in 2003), although I'm not sure how much it has changed since then. - The fitness center and pool have undergone significant improvements and are now top-notch amenities that residents can enjoy. Cons: - The location is not ideal for those without their own transportation, as it's not close to public transportation and there are limited options for grocery shopping and restaurants within walking distance. Overall, Somerset Palms (formerly Arbor View Apartments) is a great apartment complex with impressive amenities, particularly the fitness center and pool. However, its location and lack of transportation options may not make it the best choice for everyone."Property Manager Responded

Great leasing team!
October 16, 2024I just relocated to the area and finding an apartment has been a slow frustrating process. I drove by Somerset Palms today and decided to pop in and check it out. Britney, the leasing manager, was so warm and inviting! She quickly showed me a cute unit and helped me through the Application process while making it feel easy, which was incredibly helpful after a challenging apartment hunting process. living here is peachy

Not a Place to Call Home
August 7, 2019The first year we lived here the community was great as described in all the other reviews here dated pre 2019. Then they changed the rules on qualifying to live here. When we moved in we had to make a certain income & pass a background check. Once the rules changes, the cleanliness of the community went down hill quickly, we began to have pest control issues, toilets that backed up and flooded the apartment, maintenance jobs half done & an AC fire that took weeks to repair. Police were called ...to the community on a regular basis to deal with various issues from our new neighbors, the pool bathrooms were destroyed and fights broke out at the pool between grown men! We decided it was time to go. Spoke to the office staff who understood our concerns and agreed to let us go if we paid an additional months rent. After we had left we then received a demand for $3,500.00 for a termination fee. Don't rent here it has completely gone down hill.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

November 21, 2018Screwed us over. They took our deposit, and are still charging us another 300 for "repairs". They never disclosed information that the apartment was flooded before moving in and unfortunately since we don't have proof of it there's literally nothing we can do to fight it. Save your money!!
May 19, 2017In the past few years that I have lived here the pool has been one of the only things going for this place and I've enjoyed using it till 10pm. Now suddenly they changed the hours to 8pm closing. Today, on a Friday at 7:30pm they came to close the pool telling me that I had to leave. When I complained about the time, I was threatened by Hope that she would call the police if I did not leave. She was rude and very disrespectful to me. I understand that they have to close the pool when it ...gets dark.. but the sun was still up and it was a half hour earlier than posted. I would also like to add that the air conditioning freezes up if you keep it below 76 degrees. It does not cool the whole apartment but only the living room and master. Also there is no place for small children to play but the parking lot which is always full. I am furious about the way I was treated and would never recommend this place to anyone.
