After having abysmal experiences with other apartments in College Station, from being lied to about zoning to neighbors terrorizing my cats through the window, I was getting a bit hopeless that I'd ever find a place that felt like home. When I first toured the one bedroom townhome last November, I immediately loved it-- wonderful space for the price, and the staff was so friendly. The unit I visited was currently occupied and it gave me a great sense of what I could expect.
Living there for 8 ...
months, I have had no complaints. Staff is always friendly and courteous, they remember you and make an effort to connect. Maintenance is so kind and quick to respond, they even helped me replace my battery when I was late for work.
I've been able to make a beautiful little bird garden, the community is quiet and feels safe, and I just love it. I haven't had this positive an experience in years.

I’ve lived in a 1B1B apartment here for two years, and I’ve had a great experience. The community is very quiet, peaceful, and safe, which makes it a really comfortable place to live. The leasing office staff are also very friendly and helpful, and they always respond quickly whenever I have questions or need assistance. Overall, I’ve really enjoyed living here and would definitely recommend it!

Sonoma is a great place to live. The complex is peaceful and has a welcoming, family-friendly environment. The staff is amazing and responds to every request quickly and efficiently. They also value their current residents and do not significantly increase rent from year to year, unlike many other apartment complexes.
There are also plenty of parks nearby, as well as a bus stop directly in front of the complex. Overall, Sonoma is a wonderful place to live, and I highly recommend it.

I lived here back in 2012, and moved back in 12 years later(2024-current). These are unique, open townhome style apartments and are a nice change if you’re tired of boxy floor plans. They seem to do an excellent job of screening applicants, as I’ve only heard one resident with obnoxious noise, and it was handled quickly. These are older units, but if there are ever any maintenance issues, they are on top of it(maintenance is professional, and courteous). Being next to Harvey Rd and a short ...
distance from HWY 6 makes this a perfect location for getting inside the city, or out of town. There are plenty of options in the area, but if this meets your budget/requirements, you shouldn’t be disappointed.

I live in one bedroom here. The neighbor is quiet, and the place is very clean. The location is great too! Close to HEB, the bus stop, and 10-15 minutes away from campus by bus.
The management is also friendly and handles maintenance quickly. I highly suggest this place.

My apartment is very well maintained, any small issue and 1 call and someone visits the same hour or within the day. They provide lights , ac filters, battery for fire alarm. The management keeps inviting for snacks, donuts, coffees, ice cream etc.
The property is very clean as well.

The best part of Sonoma Apartment Homes is that for A & M students, the bus stop is just in front of the entrance gate for bus no. 27(Ring Dance). This place will make you feel at home, and the office members are really very friendly, especially Pia and Karen. Sonoma has a very well-maintained pool area, which is also kid-friendly. We love being here with our good-hearted neighbors.

The community is very clean and well maintained. The washer and dryers are always functioning and there are more than 10 each, so it is always available.
Our house unit is very well structured and has the rooms separated, efficient use of space, lots of cupboards. We also have a front and back garden.
