    So where do I begin. The place started off fine which is why I have 5 stars… but boy was i in for a rude awakening…. I had a neighbor who played call of duty on surround sound pretty much every night of the week until like 5am constantly & when I would do what I was supposed to do & call management they literally did nothing & I actually heard them complain saying “ oh my god he’s calling again “. Yeah people here do not do there job whatsoever, I could go more about cheap the apt is & other. ...
    Whatever experiences but when I say I’m moving out they added an extra $500 to my rent & no one told me otherwise…. Save your money & the headache DO NOT COME TO THIS CHEAP & unprofessional living space

  • Turn around

    Had leak in bathroom look like it had been leaking for some years maintenance fix leak them just but paint they also like to turn water off for hours @ a time in 4hours it will be 24hours ...but if you love the outside look and if you love raccoons this is the place for you

  • Would not suggest.

    I lived there for many years & it was nice at one time, but I would no longer suggest it. Beyond being dirty and dangerous, I had an ongoing issue with my new neighbors, to the point I finally had to move out the first of the year. Over a period of 10 months, I had to call for noise issues 8 times, email the office 4 times, and mail the corporate office twice. After all of that nothing was ever done to fix the issue. Neighbors would play music loud enough to literally vibrate the wall & it was ...
    nothing but bass. This would be at any random time, 8AM on a Sunday, 1AM on a Friday, or 6PM on a Tuesday. Southbridge always told me they would look into it, but nothing ever changed. It just became miserable to live there. I know this was an issue for many people throughout the entirety of the complex. Very happy to be away from there... I know it is tough out there & prices are high, but you can do better.

  • maintenance is awesome, apartments are not

    Pros to this apartment complex: maintenance is awesome, nice, fast. People (neighbors) can be nice, just depends on where you’re at. Cons: you hear everything your neighbors do. Argue, watch movies (although it’s mostly just the music you hear), I’ve even heard the Grote commercials from next door. And there is drywall pieces on my vents from the upper level so I doubt there’s insulation.

  • Amazing Community!

    I have had a really great experience with Southbridge. The apartments are kept well and renovated, the grounds are beautiful, and any maintence request I have had to submit has been fixed the next day! I would highly recommend.

  • Best place to live

    I lived here 3 years and will resign my new lease for the fourth year. the apartment are very nice and they give free gaz for cooking and heating. the management are friendly and helpful, they always great you with smile and ready to help you once you walking the office. Maintenance is excellent on fixing thing on time. if there are six rating I would give to them.

    Southbridge is a great value for the price. It is quiet and pleasant. The walls are thin so if you have noisy neighbors, you can hear more than you want to hear at times. also, my neighbors sometimes smoke a lot when they have company and the smell comes through the vents to my apartment. thankfully, it's not every day. My main complaint is that I chose a fountain view and our fountain has been broken coming in to our third summer now. it looks more like a swamp view at times. it would be ...

    The apartment price is extremely reasonable. The apartments were really nice for the price. The inside staircase could use some work. It smells weird and looks like years of spilled drinks on the carpet. However, the inside of the apartments are really nice. I did have a problem with the staff not contacting me about my apartment or when I could move in. They notified me a week before I could move and that's because I was calling everyday for verification. Overall, not a bad apartment complex!

    This apartment is good for its money! We pay 680 electric. All other utilities are included and everything is heated/ powered by gas. So not so hard on your electric bill ;). Getting our apartment was quick and simple and took us only one day. They even gave us the option to break our lease in the lease. For just a measly $500. They also give us a washer and dryer in the building along with water disposal and dishwasher. The apartment includes two bedrooms and two bathrooms with a cathedral ...
    window and arched ceiling. The rooms come with 2 walk in closets! What more can I ask for? The apartment is constantly upkept with grounds keepers every day and every apartment has the option to get no contract cable through dish along with cheap internet service. A plus is that is located literately down the road from a Walmart. No worries though! You can't see it because it is sorrounded by this beautiful forest, kind of like a naturally gated community.

    I have lived here on three separate occasions. I have lived in my current apartment for the past five years. I'm convinced that pound for pound, Southbridge Apartments are the best in Ft. Wayne as far as price goes. They have the least expensive rent without being section 8 qualified. It entirely depends on your neighbors! All of the people in my building are long-term residents. Not loud. No small children. No noisy pets. I hit an apartment home run! Sure, there is always the chance that you ...
    get the loud music playing, always yelling types, but the staff is usually very good about handling situations like that. Downside: their policies don't take long term renters into account. I wanted to upgrade and move my.growing family into a two bedroom apartment. I had lived here for 5 years and twice before that. I had never been more than a couple days late on my rent ever. Even then, those episodes were few and far inbetween. They made me fill out an entirely new application, and then proceeded to decline me because my income was not substantial enough. I am a three time cancer survivor getting ready to go on chemo again. My Medicare and military disability are MORE than enough to cover the rent on a two bedroom apartment, yet I was declined without a cosigner. That was the last straw for me. I've given this complex over $30,000.00 dollars in the past five years, hardly ever late, and you decline my application? I felt unappreciated, so I am living out the last few months of my lease. Outside of them being very unappreciative of quality renters, the apartments are great! Roomy, and they pay for the heat. The first floor apartments are the best because they stay cool in the summer time. Stay away from Francine. The entire staff here is amazing except for her. She takes it upon herself to constantly abuse her power. Everybody else is great!
