Completely terrible place to live.
March 3, 2023I have lived here for a 3 years and I can tell you it’s a terrible place to live. Let’s start on the outside of the apartment there is dog poop EVERYWHERE no one picks cleans anything here and there is trash all over the place it doesn’t even look like they mange the place. The dog park has holes in the fence and they don’t do anything about it. Now for the apartment itself the walls are sooo thin you can hear everything like people talking and their tvs and it always smells like weed they say ...it’s smoke free but it’s really not. Everything always breaks the closet doors break and so do the lights 2 lights went out in my apartment and no one has fixed it and also the pants on the tub over time has literally chipped off and also no one has fixed that which leads me to no one will help fix ANYTHING if you call no one will answer and if they do answer they never help fix stuff and for the AC if you turn it in for a long period of time it start to smell of mold. Rent Here with Caution
February 21, 2018I recommend not renting at this location. Units are poorly maintained and staff is unwilling to address damages in a timely manner. Our windows began to leak in the spring and winter. We sent complaints and repair requests in April 2017 and no one came to inspect our apartment. In December 2017 water entered our apartment from the windows and ran down walls and over electrical outlets. After sending in more complaints and service requests no one came to inspect the structural integrity of the ...windows. To date they are still not weather tight and in disrepair. No proper inspection was completed until late February because our apartment was not a safe and healthy environment. We were constantly getting ill. We are forced to vacate our home immediately by South Winds. However, South Winds still expects us to pay rent after vacating our lease one month early due to the unsafe and unhealthy environment they have created and failed to fix. Staff shows no empathy, or willingness to help you. If you choose to rent here please be careful, South Winds only cares about their interests and less about their tenants livelihood.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

April 5, 2017Have lived here for over a year, during that time we have had 7 different issues with more than minor ammounts of water coming in our apartment, from outside (took them about 8 months to try and fix and still had issues after) from apartments above, and from sewage pouring into our apartment. They do not have enough parking in their lots for the amount of people they have. The tow company has on multiple occasions towed people who have parking permits and in legal spots and you will be stuck ...with the bill. rents go up by over 10% every year. The area grounds are covered in animal feces. They have nice things like a dog park but they d ont clean them so multiple animals have gotten sick while going there. August 14, 2015I really like my apartment I come home from work and do not have to fix anything I just call the office and they fix it . We have air conditioning, wall to wall rugs, dishwasher, disposal , pool what more can you ask for. The only thing I do not like is the pets some dogs try to attack you and people leave dog droppings around ,but other wise it is great we have been here over 40 years !Review from Apartments.com
