Seemingly Good
February 28, 2025Overall, the apartments look very nice. That is true. First day of moving in, the towel rack fell when a towel was placed on it. As far as maintenance, I’ve submitted about 5 maintenance tickets total and the average to get them resolved is about a month. Including the shower rack. If it’s resolved properly the first time. The maintenance crew is very nice however. Communication between leasing and the contractors that do the work can be fleeting. A lot of popping up and knocking. Which can ...be rough if you work from home. Especially if you don’t. The leasing agent is great with showing up on time. Upon move out, leasing was asked for paint to do touchups a month ahead of the end of the lease. It was received 2 days before the lease ended. Don’t expect to get your full deposit if you have your apartment detailed before the end of the lease. They will charge you for the installation of a new carpet, which is required by the state of New Jersey to be swapped between every tenant. Leasing has gotten better with the addition of a new leasing agent, she’s much more responsive. Rent is rent. Best Bang For Your Buck- Hand's Down!
January 13, 2022Trust me, I did the leg work before deciding to rent here, and Southwinds offers more space and nicer apartment features than any other in several nearby neighborhoods. WiFi included?!? And not shared building WiFi-no-a personal modem for WiFi in every apartment. They have every feature that every other luxury apartment has- quartz counters, plank floors, stainless steel appliances including dishwasher and built-in microwave, full-size washer/dryer, private patio or balcony, but what makes ...Southwinds apartments better than all the others is the amount of space each apartment offers. The smallest one bedroom is 1012 square feet, and the smallest two bedroom is 1095 square feet- not small at all. Also, the smart home features make these apartments stand out from the rest- lots of overhead LED lighting, hetaing and air-conditioning, and a front door keyless entry, code lock that can all be controlled through an app on your phone. It is clear that the landlord was focused on building the nicest private living spaces rather than building shiny amenities that nobody actually uses. Also, management is great! Samantha is friendly, attentive, funny, and passioante about making sure her residents are happy. Also, Erica, is on top of maintenance requests faster than any other apartment community I've lived at before.Property Manager Responded
