Mold and smoke! Dirty! Poor management.
September 9, 2025I am a disabled veteran with chronic sinusitis, chronic rhinitis, and other breathing issues. Spring Forest gave my family an apartment with mold growing in all the windows, and the smoke smell in the apartment was unbearable. I found out that it was our next door neighbor smoking in the home, despite our leases forbidding it. Management didn't care and refused to stop him from smoking. It gave my wife migraines, my son a bad sinus infection, and worsened my conditions. We spoke with other ...residents dealing with similar situations. They let us out of our lease and agreed to give us back our full deposit (over $1700) back in June. It is now September and we have not seen a dime. The breezeways are disgusting, maintenance staff are clueless and inept, and they refuse to replace broken fixtures, cabinets, and doors. Terrible Manager
September 9, 2024Poor communication and terrible attitude from the manager, I've been forced to pay more than an additional $2000 due to errors they made. Appliances don't work hall ways smell like urine and management is just rude and disrespectful. Plumbing is constantly clogging up. Can't wait to get out!Review from Apartments.com

June 7, 2019This place is horrible!! It has rapidly declined within the past year! No clubhouse as advertised, so do not believe the website! Most recently, there was an issue with the website that residents can use to pay rent! Long story short, the website would not take ACH payments! This was a known issue per both the local leasing office and the corporate office, however there response to me was that I should have just paid the rent online via a credit or debit card. Mind you, there is a 2.4% fee ...associated with using a credit or debit card, so essentially they are saying that I should have to pay an extra fee because their website was malfunctioning! They are now charging me a late fee and showing a late rent payment on my rental history! How bad of customer service is that? To make matters worse, the local leasing agent, Brandie I think, had the nerve to mock me by saying well “only those that waited until the last minute to pay had the issue.” Really that’s how you speak to a customer? Please do not live here, Mebane has many more apartment communities with functioning amenities, run there!Property Manager Responded

August 24, 2016Relocated from O.o.s. Was told 1price online, another on lease. Buy sep. insurance. Then charge for water and trash on top. Took to mngmt att and very matter of factly insinuated I should have known, after being told electric would be only utility. Don't fall for it. Now my family will be stuck here with 1prkin spot., for a year in overpriced junk. Appliances are garbage, and cell phones are dead spot. Seek other options.Property Manager Responded

My Rental
August 22, 2015My apartment is a spacious 2 bedroom 2 bath and the management is great and keep grounds looking nice. It's pet friendly with great amenities. One of the best locations nearby.
