Spring Lake Cove Apts
August 14, 2015After more than 30 years as a "renter" I can say with all honesty that this is the WORST rental situation, I have ever experienced. The complex is about 8 yrs old so it "looks pretty", but the reality of living here does not match the decor. The staff is composed of 4 immature, unskilled,young people. The maintenance staff is really inadequate. The head of maintenance spends more time at the coffee bar in the office, socializing with young gals at the pool, or at the car wash,or watching TV ...in the maintenance office, then he does actually working. He hires younger guys to work for him, gives them the worst jobs, while he sits around, or stands around "supervising". The worst part is the paperwork involved with lease renewals, and even after you get a letter from the office stating you won't get a rent increase, they raise it anyway; this year $40. Once you've signed the lease and they have also- they still come at you with more paperwork to sign, then they have impromptu inspections- 2 which seems justified and at least 2 or 3 others that are strictly mgmt spying on their tenants; it's truly ridiculous. For those thinking of retiring and renting in FL- check it out online; there are virtually NO renters rights in this state; except for those concerning safety and insects. You can be asked to vacate after only 2 weeks.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

July 26, 2015Very nice quiet surrounding with a nice lake near by. Office staff are nice and maintenance are very fast to respond. Appliances are good and also provide a garbage disposal which helps a lot. No sign of roaches or any other bugs ever. People here are very friendly rent prices aren't too bad either.
