Great place but . . .

I lived here for two years, late 2020 to late 2022, and mostly enjoyed my time there, but there are some things to be aware of.
The rent rises every year with the reason given being water usage. The washer, dryer, dishwasher, and stove all feel cheap, the washer being the worst of all. My washer would get off balance easily and start banging probably 50% of the time. That was a common joke among the tenants, and even the staff told me the appliances weren't the greatest. installed outside of my apartment. I wouldn't mind that except when a UPS or Amazon truck goes over those bumps, and those kinds of trucks are there every day, they're extremely noisy and will wake you up if you're trying to sleep in or have a third shift schedule. Even regular vehicles going over the bumps are loud.
On the plus side, the area feels safe which is saying something for Springfield. The other tenants are either kind or keep to themselves, and it's easy to meet new people. The pool is nice and well maintained and the clubhouse is spacious and comfortable. The maintenance man does a great job and is quick to respond to any issue. The property manager is professional and always had a quick answer to my questions. The apartments themselves are clean and didn't have any bugs. The heating and AC work well. The garage was more than big enough for my car, though my neighbor couldn't fully fit his big truck in his garage.
Overall I enjoyed my time here and would recommend Spring Meadow to anyone who can afford it.
