Amazing Place to be
October 14, 2025I cannot say enough wonderful things about The Springs at Three Oaks in Crystal Lake, IL! Since moving here from rural North Carolina, the transition has been smoother than I could have ever imagined, thanks to this amazing community. From the moment I toured the property, it was clear that The Springs was a standout choice. The meticulously manicured grounds caught my eye right away, and the thoughtfully designed apartment layouts set it apart from the other complexes I visited. The highlight, ...however, has to be the two fantastic dog parks – an agility park and a large standard dog park. Coming from an area where my dogs had ample space to roam, these parks have been an absolute blessing. My dogs couldn't be happier! Inside the apartment, I'm in love with my granite countertops and the thoughtful layout, but what truly gives me peace of mind is the gated entry. The security and comfort provided by the need to scan in or use a code is comforting, especially for someone adjusting to a more bustling environment. The amenities here are top-notch. The well-equipped gym makes it easy to stay active without leaving the community. And when it's time to unwind, the gorgeous pool is the perfect place to relax and soak up some sun. Evenings are best spent by the cozy fire pit or enjoying a barbecue with friends in the superb grilling area, which truly enhances the sense of community here. Above all, the incredible staff has made my experience here unforgettable. Having lived here for a year and a half, the exceptional service provided by Christina, the manager, Victoria, the leasing agent, and the maintenance team – Yevan, Brandon, and Connor – never goes unnoticed. Their kindness and willingness to go above and beyond make The Springs feel like home. The community at The Springs is a wonderful mix of working professionals and diverse walks of life, creating an environment that is both vibrant and peaceful. February 18, 2023This place flat out sucks! Way too much money for a mediocre apartment. Thin as paper walls, office staff that take forever to respond to issues, 4 days without heat. I've written reviews on here that keep getting deleted for some reason. For the money, go somewhere else, this is NOT a luxury apartment community.Review from Apartments.com

Steer Clear of this place
March 24, 2022They sell you on all of the amenities and then do not deliver on them. Trash pickup is sparse at best, the gates were broken (open) all winter, management does not reply to the needs of the tenants, there is a community communication board and issues are ignored. Awful management, brand new buildings already falling apart
February 12, 2022Moving here was the worst housing decision I have ever made. The staff does not care in the slightest. Awful customer service and not able to solve any problems. I've had numerous issues since move in day, including a broken washing machine less than one month into my lease. The worse part was it took them nearly 3 weeks to fix it! Stay far far away from this place. Other issues to be concerned about are the "valet" trash program, which is a forced addition of $30 to your monthly rent. They ...also have an exclusive internet provider and the packages are awful. I couldn't work with the lower speed package and so I upgraded to the higher speed. Not what it seems...
November 1, 2021I am moving to this area from out of state and saw how beautiful this new apartment community looked! I scheduled a virtual tour before making the four hour drive to tour a handful of apartments, and after receiving multiple confirmation texts and emails (and providing a number for FaceTime) they forgot about our virtual tour. So I called to see what happened and they said they don't actually offer virtual tours? So we scheduled an in-person tour and we made the drive. Upon arrival, the office ...opened late and we finally entered to find out that they had no record of our in-person tour either (we got a confirmation text THAT MORNING)... So we were handed keys and told we could go look at the unit ourselves. The lack of organization was the first red flag, but we overlooked it and gave them the benefit of the doubt because I'm sure it is hard to open a new complex during covid times. The unit we toured was very spacious and beautiful (cheapest rent out of all of our other options so we wanted to love it), but everything was built extremely cheap- from the fridge, to the cabinets, to the chipping paint- and this was supposed to be a brand new "luxury" unit. This was the second red flag that we also overlooked because the rent was cheaper than the other, nicer, apartments we looked at. We made it as far as paying the admin fees and the $600 security deposit... and we continued to have terrible communication from this complex. After all of these negative experiences we decided to look up the reviews of the other Springs apartment locations and that was the FINAL red flag (please do this before wasting your time to know what to expect). Ultimately, the poor management at this complex is what made us lose confidence in our decision to live here. If you are someone who isn't bothered by this, I'm positive you could make it work.
