My Experience at Springwood Park Apartments
August 8, 2019My experience while living at Springwood Aptartments has been a very great one. The apts. are very spacious and affordable. The landlord, Mrs. Rouse is a very fair and wonderful lady to rent from. She is very knowledgeable about apartment living. She will also help her tenants in any situations that they may have to the best of her ability. The maintenance is a great staff also. Mrs. Rouse and her maintenance staff go beyond the call of duty to ensure that her tenants are safe and well taken care ...of. Not the place to live
October 27, 2016I would recommend this property for individuals or families whom require nothing other than a place to sleep and eat. For the price and square footage it's a deal, however, the apartments are extremely dated. The appliances are very old, may not function properly. No amenities are included. The landscaping service will manicure the property each week and blow dust and leaf debris all over your clean vehicle without any regard. It also takes weeks and sometimes months to get maintenance to repair ...or fix any issues with the units. The leasing agent Jim is extremely rude and disrespectful. Majority of the week he is not in the office and difficult to get in contact with. Real estate associates own the property and will do nothing to improve the property but will increase rent annually. Location of the property is convenient between Briar creek and downtown Durham which is a positive. The tenants are nice and friendly, I would consider the property a safe place outside of all the negatives.Property Manager Responded
January 3, 2018We are sorry to see that there was a bad experience. While we are a small community and don't have the same amenities that a larger community may have, we offer a really great product at a much more affordable price. You pay for those amenities in your rental amount, whether you use them or not. At Springwood Park, management is new, vendors are new, and apartments are being updated as needed (new hardwood floors, carpet, countertops, appliances, lighting, paint, etc.) While there is only 1 person in the office, customer service is our top priority and there are numerous ways to reach management and get service. We hope that you will consider Springwood Park when looking for your new home.
