Stanford Court is such a hidden gem! One of the things I love most is how quiet and peaceful it is. The property feels small and private, which makes it feel more like home instead of a crowded complex. There’s also lots of shade from the trees, making it relaxing to sit outside or take a walk. If you’re looking for a calm, cozy, and more private place to live, Stanford Court is definitely worth considering.

When I first moved in the management staff was great. Which made up for the inconveniences of appliances going out constantly. The maintenance guys were great but they were trying to keep out dated appliances running. My water heater and garbage disposal stopped working every couple months.
The neighborhood is not very safe. There was a shooting at the Lowe’s right down the street awhile back. Hearing gun shots at night is a regular occurrence. I also had the catalytic converter cut off ...

If all that wasn’t bad enough, they kept my deposit and charged me with a bunch of frivolous fees after I moved out. They claimed the carpet had stains and wear but couldn’t produce pictures. They also charged me for not returning the parking pass sticker which had been expired for months. I requested a new one but the new woman in the office wouldn’t even open the door to speak with me. She made me call her and told me just to keep using the old one. Then charged me $50 for not returning it when I moved out months later. I had to scrape it off my windshield and it ripped into pieces.
I recommend avoiding this place.

If you see an issue, make sure it is corrected before you move in. Do not accept any verbal assurances or promises. The apartment employees will lie to you to make sure you move in.
When walking through the apartment, before signing, I pointed out that there were no knobs on any of the cabinets and that they were not designed to be opened without handles so these would need to be installed. I was promised explicitly by the staff that this would be taken care of. After four months of calling ...
about this issue I was told that they would not be installing the cabinet handles as they originally promised even with this issue in writing that it was to be corrected.
Maintenance is lack luster and will do anything to get out of ACTUALLY fixing an issue.

Overall experience was just okay. Apartment not cleaned when I moved in. Stove was a very old smaller than normal size. Dishwasher old and didn’t clean dishes. Had 5, yes, 5 water leaks in two years I was there! Four leaks from the ceiling. In August 2020, leak was so bad it flooded the apartment and into outside hallway into apartment next door and I had to make a renters insurance claim for my damaged items. Apartments are old and need updating!

My fiancé and I have been living at Stanford Court for over a year and a half and we have nothing but good things to say. The complex is quiet, nice views, and is a great location for downtown and the airport. The neighbors are considerate and look out for one another. The maintenance staff respond rather quickly and when we moved in our apartment was in good condition so we didn't have a lot of issues. We did have to follow up a few times about referral money but the staff has always been kind ...
and respectful. We never got bogged down in extra fees and our rent never went up. We are grateful for a good experience with Stanford Court and recommend it for those who are searching for something good at a good price!

This all falls back on me because I was in such a rush in looking for a home... This is not a place that you'll want to spend more than a yr at. 2 reasons... Everything in the apartment is CLOSE there's no type of creative architecture design, no updated designs or appliances, it was like living in a box, I basically only used my apartment to sleep and lay my head because I did not want to feel isolated. Also every time I had a problem in my apartment it was not taken care of in a timely manner. ...
Whether it was my fridge not running or my ceiling leaking it seem they took their time and those two things themselves were pretty major things to me. Quick true story. I called about mold being in my water heater closet it took them about a week to come and when they finally did all they did was paint over it. My lease is finally about to be up and I am very excited, because my stay there has not been a pleasant one. The rent is in a good range but I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a NICE place to stay.

Stanford Cout is one of four sister Apts which are located all within walking distance of each other. I chose Stanford for many reasons. One reason in particular was the complex size. Stanford Court is not to small and not to big. Management has been wonderful through out the years. Maintenance is very professional, they get the job done asap you never have to wait.
